This guitar is everything I wanted! The sound is so bright and a little bit higher pitch than my other guitar. I really like the difference. The feel of the KOA wood is great and it’s just beautiful to look at. It’s the perfect size for traveling and for open mic nights or places where space is limited. I couldn’t ask for anything better! It’s more than I hoped for in a smaller sized guitar.

This guitar sounds fantastic. I was especially surprised by how full the low end was. It came in its case, with fresh, tuned strings, so I was able to play it right as soon as I opened the box. Though I can't do much traveling nowadays in the pandemic, I do look forward to taking this on different trips because it seems like a promising travel guitar. I love this instrument and would recommend it to other intermediate guitarists like myself.

Great guitar! This sounds incredible in a full band mix. It has great low end and mids for its size and really has a full sound. Unplugged, it’s the classic acoustic tone we all want sitting around and jamming. As someone who is a Martin guy and not a fan of the Taylor electronics, I’m very happy with this one!

It has a very beautiful and surprisingly bold sound out of the box. Beginner here and I was immediately able to fall in love with with the brightness of tone and its volume despite being a smaller sized "parlor" guitar. I find everyone can play it! AMS has great payment options. Needless to say, the reason you're looking at this one is because it's beautiful. In real life, its even more stunning. The koa wood is luminous and has distinctive change in different lighting which I thought was pretty cool. I bought the GS mini hybrid-bag for safe storage, but this comes with a gig bag too! Very fairly priced guitar.

I always wanted a Taylor after hearing the 300 series. I would dabble around my local GC on the GS Mini and always loved how small and powerful it is. I was going to go with the spruce top but I went with the Koa wood instead and it’s a beauty. You never really know what you’re going to get but I admire mine so much and use it every Sunday for church service and studio recording sessions. It’s a perfect balance of bright and mellow, soft and sweet. I have a Hagstrom G3500 with a solid cedar top and solid ovangkol back and sides and it produces very dark and subtle than the GS Mini plus it’s electric too so I can easily amplify it and still get an amazing tone. I definitely recommend this is you’re traveling a lot, affordable, and still want a true Taylor tone everywhere you go. AMS made it easy to pay monthly too, great thanks to them for offering that service!

Pros: This guitar has a beautiful finish, a bigger sound than you would think for its size, and a warmth not heard on guitars costing twice as much. The neck is smooth and the action is great! The included gig bag is an added bonus.
Cons: Not a huge fan of the built-in electronics. The preamp is just ok and it runs on watch batteries which is kind of strange.

When I heard the wide, solid and warm sound from the Taylor GS Mini-eKoa I said What? Yes!, Taylor guitars it made again. As usual the brand choiced the excellet wood (Koa wood) for build this beautiful guitar. The scaled-down size it's not a problem for sound projection helped by the little belly designed on the back which make it superior to other similiar guitars even standard size guitars. The Taylor chrome tuning machines are beautiful and provide confident presicion. This amazing guitar comes whit a Taylor ES-B system features a built-in tuner and onboard tone and volume controls for vestatil and accurate tonal performance. The Sapele neck with 20-fret Ebony fingerboard is very confortable and perfectly tuned.I played a Mini Koa borrowed from a friend almost a year but I finally bought one four month ago and I'm very happy playing my guitar. Like all this Taylor products line this great guitar comes whit a ellegant and durable gib bag. I recomend the Taylor GS MIni-e guitar a 150%.

Been on the hunt for a decent travel acoustic guitar and Taylor and AMS has delivered more than I payed for. Great sounding guitar with a full body guitar sound. Warmth and tone this thing is just amazing. To top it all off the Koa on this guitar is beautiful. Couldn't have picked a better guitar. Been wanting to get my hands on a Bob Taylor for years now and couldn’t have chosen a better model for my first Taylor. The KOA Mini finish is the perfect blend and projection you’ll get for its unbelievable price. High, mids and lows blend perfectly and the body size of the guitar is just right for someone who might have smaller hands/arms than the usual. Overall really awesome guitar and can’t wait to start recording with it.

This Taylor gs mini is one of the best acoustics I’ve ever played. I’ve owned it for a few weeks now and I CANNOT put it down. Playing this acoustic has made me not only enjoy, and appreciate how big this Taylor feels but it has a stellar sound and it lightweight. The onboard electronics are superb and easy to use. I love the tone knob as it allows me to dial in the right amount of low end or high end sparkle that I want. Being able to play this guitar for long periods of time is a pleasure. I am looking forward to taking it on the road and showing others what this thing is made of. Small packages really can feel and sound huge. Check this Taylor out today!!!!

I've been a singer/songwriter for over 20 years. I've Always been a Taylor guy but never had the fortune of owning one until now. Over the years I've found that the right guitar can bring out the songs and creativity. The Taylor KOA mini GS is one of those guitars. The action, the sound, inspire the mind to not just create but push the sound. It has helped me find my passion again that had become stagnant and jaded.
This is the first guitar I had ever purchased without playing first. What a win!! The payment process is as smooth as it gets and the customer service is second to none.
If you are looking for an affordable Taylor Acoustic for writing/recording that doesn't jeopardize quality and can translate seamlessly to the Live show, then this is the one for you.

I have many guitars, including six Taylor’s. The GS mini is perfect for what I do. Mostly solo gigs at Veterans homes, assisted living homes, nursing homes well you get the picture. I can carry everything that I need all in one trip, plug in ready to go in five minutes, the gig bag that comes with this little marvel is excellent! Mics, cords, and stuff. I use a Dawn T-100 and it sounds great! I have toted all over the country and have no complaints, at the price point you can not get any better! I also purchased the GS mini bass, also a great little guitar, very light weight and does the job well! I have recommended this to lots of people, and have been thanked by all of them for turning them on to it!

Try them all and the GS Mini Koa will clearly prove to have the best tone and sound. Yes it's the priciest of the bunch but well worth it. Even video reviews show how good the Koa sounds.
I have a Taylor 314ce and a Martin OMPCA4 that stays in their cases because I love playing and writing songs with my Mini K.

As soon as I opened my guitar I was amazed at how beautiful it was and the high quality workmanship. The case that came with it far exceeded in the best possible way my expectations. It’s a nice little guitar but there’s a horrible dead spot in the neck. Also the 15th fret on the first one wasn’t seated into the fretboard. I tried two and returned them both.
I really wanted to love it but at $800.00 I was very dissapointed in the quality especially for Taylor.

I’ve owned many expensive acoustics, Gibson j15/45, Taylor ce814, Martin dpca4 and M36, and this thing definitely stands on its own 2 feet.
I won’t say that this guitar is as full or power as the guitars listed above, that’s just sonically impossible, but it is the best smaller scale acoustic I’ve used.
Wood quality is absolutely beautiful, and the sound is very pronounced. Finger picking sounds amazing and the little body really projects single notes beautifully.
Plugged in and it competes with whatever else is happening in the mix in a very appropriate manner. Pushed through without sounding small and cheap.
I give a lot of lessons around Dallas TX and to be able to grab the gigbag over my shoulder and get to work while leaving my big expensive acoustics home is a treat. I use it for most acoustic gigs as well considering the sound is phenomenal and it’s an easy to carry around instrument.
Order one and you’ll see why this is one of the best selling acoustics on the market.

This is a very impressive guitar for its size. The low end is definitely present but it also sparkles on the high end. The Koa is absolutely beautiful. The case included is top of the line and will protect the guitar very well. The onboard electronics are ample and so what they are supposed to do. This is my first acoustic with an onboard tuner and it is very convenient to have. If you are thinking of buying a small scale acoustic that plays effortlessly you have to consider the Taylor GS Mini-e. Just as an end note, AMS is incredible to purchase from. The interest free payment plans makes owning expensive gear very easy. Customer service is top notch and shipping is quick and everything is always well packed.

There’s nothing “mini” about the sound of this instrument. It’s absolutely gorgeous and sounds out like a true Taylor. Also the “gig bag” that comes with it needs a bit of applause itself. It’s a custom made, padded case, that is a work of art in itself. So very satisfied with my Taylor.
