I’ve had this for about a month now and really not that crazy about it I use it to practice on about three to four hours a day and right away I started to have to work on it seems like almost every day something tears up on it because the wires are barely soldered and shorts in the headphone if I could go back I would get the one that was right before this one I think it was a 65 if I remember right

These drums are a lot of fun! The are a great size for small houses or apartments. It is nice that these can be moved from room to room easily and are small enough to slide under the bed if you needed them out of the way (something not possible with a full kit or even an electronic kit). There are tons of sounds and varieties of drums to choose. We have really enjoyed having these around the house. It is nice to be able to practice the drums anytime without bothering everyone in the house and neighborhood since they can be turned down or used with headphones.

Solid Drum Machine

Product Review
I used to be able to drum fairly well, but then I got injured and lost the use of my legs. A few years back, I got the crazy idea to get an electronic drum machine so I could hit the kicks with one of my hands. I've had an Alesis drum unit that I've used for a few years and it works okay, but I've had to sacrifice one of the pads for the kick. With this Yamaha unit, I'm able to place the kick sensor on the table and hit it with a stick, freeing up all of the other pads for their original intention. Works like a charm!
The unit has lots of really good sounding drum tones. It's very responsive. I do have a little lag in the MIDI-to-USB connector I'm using, but I think it's probably more on my connector side than with the unit itself. There are lots of built in drum loops and songs to experiment with. The menu system is a LITTLE wonky and cumbersome to get the hang of, but it's not unbearable. For the price, this is a really great little drum kit.
I'm not a huge fan of the construction, as it sits fairly high and doesn't have adjustable angles of any kind. But, for an average person who can adjust THEIR height relative to the kit, it is probably less of a problem. I've had to get used to being a little more precise with my drumming, as well, due to the height and angle difference with it sitting flat on a table. But, once again, I think this has more to do with my disability and trying to play it from a wheelchair than any actual flaw in the design.
In the end, I would highly recommend this to any person looking to get a portable electronic drum kit or get something to use as a MIDI controller in their studio for a good price. The main reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I reserve 5 star reviews for products that REALLY wow me. But this was absolutely a solid purchase and I would buy again if given a chance to rethink my purchase.

Bought for my grandson. He loves it. We do not have a lot of free space in the house so this works out perfectly.

I feel this is the perfect complement to my guitar and practice amp. You can create a simple beat or maybe a complex one and then just record it and loop it. It is awesome, the selection of drum kits is incredible and the flexibility is incredible. Definitely recommended.

this set is a lot of fun to jam on, even my kids love it. bass pedal is sensitive. have not hooked it up electronically yet, husband only used it turned on to practice. i do suggest a full size electronic kit for pro drummers. this is just a fun little jam kit...unless you make beats, then i could see it being more useful

If space is a major concern then the Yamaha dd75 may be the answer! I added a KP 65 and HH 65 and it has a much more natural feel and it fits in a tiny space!

I purchased 5 of these table top drums to have enough to work with beginning students. The Sound Quality is great. Takes getting used to from playing a trap set to a tabletop. Had it for two weeks and it works well with teaching, rehearsals and addition to drum set. Met ever expectation and some. I would recommend this item to others. It is well worth the price.
