Due to some financial issued caused by health problems, I had to sell my Yamaha P-125 a few months ago. It was finally time to get a replacement, so I tried the NP32. The keyboard sounds great and plays really easily. As other reviewers have said, it sounds better through a good set of headphones, but the onboard speakers are not terrible by any means. All that said, I did end up returning it. My only real complaint about it is the "Graded Soft Touch" on the keys. The emphasis must be on the "soft" because as far as I could tell, there was no weight to the keys at all. However, if you are a player who does not require the feel of the weighted, or hammer action keys, this keyboard is great. I also give props to AMS customer service for making the return process quick and painless.

I have been looking for a piano for awhile, had a Baby Grand many years ago and wanted a piano without all the the bells and whistles, has a few buttons just enough. It meets all my needs and I love it. I would of gave it 5 stars but I would like headphones so I can practice but unable to find one.

The yahama NP32 is a great sounding and playing digital piano with just enough great features but none of the unnecessary extras. I wanted something that was functional and sounded good but wouldn’t look out of place in my living room. unlike many keyboards that are large, bulky, and covered in buttons the NP32 is sleek and attractive and looks great in my living room. Be aware that the power supply is sold separately.

This is a great piano. My daughter was impressed with it when we opened on Christmas and even more excited that it was white. The sound is crisp and beautiful perfect for beginner or novice players.
