These Yamahas are work horse's.I play as a solo , duo , and trio and the keyboard players I play with , all use these P115's . They are light to carry , sound great direct through the board " I use the Bose L1 ", and they are a proven work horse and last for years. I am not an accomplished keyboard player , but I do enjoy playing for my own enjoyment. For the price , features, and durability of this board , you can't go wrong !!

This digital piano is quite versatile with a nice touch to the keys. It plays just like a real piano! The sounds on board are phenomenal and with the ability to combine sounds, the possibilities are astounding! I only have two discrepancies about the piano: there is no MIDI capabilities and you can't combine two sounds from the same channel (i.e. Grand Piano & Bright Piano). Other than those two things, I am more than satisfied with my purchase. Did I mention the price was excellent?! If you're looking to purchase a digital piano, this would be a great start!

The Yamaha P115 piano is way more than I'd expected, but then again this is Yamaha we're talking about. The playability is exceptional and the sound palette is beautifully adorned with some of the sweetest piano and keyboard sounds alike. I'd have no reservation about buying the Yamaha P115 Digital Piano again.

Over the years and through hundreds of studio sessions I have played nearly every board on the market. I bought one of these to donate to our church youth band. After unpackaging and playing around with it I was simply amazed at what it could do for the price so just for fun took it to a local studio for a session. The studio owner bought one for the studio and I mean a well known studio. I have learned you can never go wrong with a Yamaha keyboard.

The Yamaha P115 88 Key Digital Stage Piano is a great value. With the weighted keys, it plays like an acoustic piano. The built in sound system sounds great. There are various piano types, organ types, and strings, which are easy to select and sound fantastic. I highly recommend the P115!

So first of all, I am not an accomplish keyboard player. I am a high intermediate, low advanced guitar player. When I write music, I tend to prefer to work things out on the piano first as I am build a song. I have also picked-up enough to cord and add some solos to my recordings. I had been using a Yamaha YP-234 for these purposes, but I really wanted to start getting serious about piano playing. This keyboard is absolutely perfect. It lives up to all the excellent reviews. If you need a full range of "voices" this is not the one you want. I have all that in my other keyboard, and don't need expanded functions. I can't say enough about the action, expression, and quality of this instrument. As always, AMS is "on point" with delivery and payment options. Forget the competition -- get this one, and get it here! You won't be sorry.

When it comes to replicating, as best as one can, the sound and feel of an acoustic piano, Yamaha always convinces me that they do the best job with their digital pianos. I wasn't so sure about the P Series but during my last keyboard purchase, I stumbled across the P115.
The low notes have great presence and the high notes have really nice definition. The keys respond very well to dynamic playing and the sound through the speakers is very authentic and clear. The instrument speaks for itself, really, and for the price it's a great deal. I was looking at getting different model piano from Yamaha, but I am so glad I stumbled on this one.
Great piano. Great price.
