The addition of the 509’s innovative switching system, which consists of a 5-way blade switch and two mini coil-tap switches, gives players an array of humbucking, single coil, and blended tones. While the 5-way blade switch gives players the expected pickup selection, the mini coil-tap switches work to split the outside grouped coils and add some much appreciated in-between tones.
