The Deering Goodtime 2- 5 String Banjo has a resonator back that provides more projection of sound. Greg Deering remembers what it was like to want a good banjo and not be able to afford one, so he created the Goodtime banjos. He designed them to fill in the gap between low priced banjos and banjos with enough quality for beginners to learn without difficultly or giving up.

Deering makes the banjos here in the USA, at the Deering shop with the same tooling they use to make the top of the line banjos.
