This pedal lets you customize and shape the sound of your wah. By a simple turn of the Q dial, you can shape your wah from a narrow, sharp wah to a broad, subtle wah. The Dunlop Crybaby 535Q also offers six guitar wah ranges, a variable boost from 0 to +26 dB and a hard wire on/off switch. Its new custom circuitry consumes less power and eliminates unwanted distortion. The Dunlop Crybaby 535Q is the guitarist's premium do it all wah-wah pedal. Control over every parameter lets you sculpt the effect to your liking. Select the frequency center of the effect, then dial in the breadth (frequency range) to be swept by the pedal's travel. From narrow & sharp to broad & subtle, this clean, noise-free wah puts the control in your hands (and foot). Used by Jeff Beck. The Dunlop Crybaby 535Q is powered by the Dunlop ECB03 AC acapter power supply or one 9 volt battery. The older version (before 12/01) used Dunlop's ECB04 adapter or two 9V batteries. Quality: The treadle on mine will rock back ever so slightly when left in a "stuck" position. I'm sure it's easy enough to fix but I don't really use it like that so no big deal. Good quality parts and very good tones. Sound: It sounds great, and it has many different effects and tones. It includes a set of presets for the pedal with famous tones such as Tom Morello and Joe Satriana. There is also a boost setting that allows you to sustain notes for as long as possible. Reliability: I haven't had it very long but I have a feeling nothing will go wrong. Nothing has happened to it and it is a great pedal. It is made of very good quality metal and the input/output are very good too. Overall: great pedal! very pleased. i would probably have to put a prive tag of 199.99 on this but its surprisingly cheap for its great quality. definitely worth the buy! Playability and Feel: Tone: Finish: Not much of a paint job, but I am a fan of the plain black metal. Action: The same as it is now! It is really good! It will always be the first pedal on my board.
