| I love this little thing and I would recomend it to anyone looking for a mic that has a rich thick sound. It is not flat and clear like the baby bottle or ksm44, but it has a little grit that fills the DAW void. Also the continously variable patterns make it a great mic for many uses including duet vocals, M/S stereo recording, ambien room mic, etc...
A little piece of foam that acts as a stabilizer for the capsule broke off and was moving around, but I sent an e-mail to the guys at RODE and they sent me a brand new unit and shipping label to return the defective unit within days.
Continously variable patterns! who can argue with that?
all quality mics require a certain amount of knowledge and care
I would give it a 10 if there were more stars on this review. I think this microphone would still be a good value at twice the price.
