Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Can'[t speak to the dependable yet, I've just had it for a day!
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The wireless microphone delivered solid sound on a semi-weak battery (in the microphone) from 75+ feet away. At that distance I got no cut-outs. With a Fresh battery it will probably be good to 100 feet. The only downside I've found after an hour of testing is that there's a lot of noise generated from the battery wiggling around inside the microphone. I may need to tape it in place.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
I unpacked it, checked to see if the battery was charged....it was....and set it up in about five minutes. That included getting a 9v battery out of my freezer, to put in the microphone. It took me about 20 seconds to figure out how to dock my iphone.
Sound
How is the tone?
For vocal/announcing projection, this works great. It would almost certainly work well for vocal/guitar and maybe an electronic keyboard in a smallish space, say 75 x 75 or maybe a bit bigger. It doesn't have the big bass punch of a several hundred-watt system, but then it's not as big and heavy as one of those, either. My band (guitar, two vocals, woodwinds) sometimes plays gigs on the street and I could see setting up two of these and using them to amplify the group. It would be loud enough to be heard about half a block, which is what we'd want.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I bought this to serve as a PA system for the athletics at a Scottish Highland Games. I'm never more than about 30 feet away from the athletes, 75 feet from the wireless antenna/speaker and the audience is anywhere from 15 to 75 feet away from the speaker. I needed something that would run all day on a battery (no electricity on the field) and be loud enough for me to be heard about 75 feet away, maybe 100 feet. It needed to be *Extremely* portable, as one of our events take place in a separate area, 150 feet away from the main competition area. This unit from Samson fills the bill perfectly.

Yes, the product is made very well and is durable
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
For me, the IPOD dock is the best feature on the unit. It makes it very easy to apply it the way that I need to use it.

The product is simple to use right out of the box. Plug in and play
Sound
How is the tone?
Great overall tone at moderate to low volumes. I first recommended this to a drum student to practice with, and it was plenty loud enough for him even while he was playing
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I am in need of adding some effects to the wireless mic and the way that it is wired, you can't do that. You would have to bring a mixer and use another mic altogether to have effects, and that is a buzz kill. Otherwise it is a great purchase and VERY useful.
