Good Product But Be Careful
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I'm using this mic for an accordion and it works fine but I have had very bad feedback issues. On the mixer the green light comes up even when I am not playing meaning that it is picking up all the surrounding noise. Naturally with all this noise coming in, I cannot afford to put any monitor volume on this mic or else I'll get horrible feedback. But at the FOH point of ear, it sound great and is very well countoured for the instrument. On a Flat EQ it sounds a bit centered around the mids but it still sounds great, I'm sure that there is a way to get rid of feedback though so I will focus more on the sound. It great. Plus an accordion is a low volume instrument compared to something like a sax or a trumpet so its worth a shot.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Quality of the mic itself is way better than I expected but the receiver seems like it should've been a little more rigid. Plus I would've really liked if the receiver had optional rack ears.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
It's really easy to use just plug it in, turn it on and bam you're ready to go.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
I like the mute switch on the body pack, because it allows you to have control over your mic. It also has a gain knob but its really hard to turn without a screwdriver or something so that could have been a little better.
Sound
How is the tone?
The tone is great. Like I said its a little mid-y but you can get rid of that with some minor EQing, what matters is that the sound is clear and not muddy. Just for the fun of it I tried singing with this, and the results were not that great because it got distorted. I guess it has a thin diaphragm.
