I play a lot of 70s/80s hard rock, and this is the sound I have been waiting for. After years of using various cabinets from various brands, I finally decided to pull the trigger. All I can say is I wish I had done it sooner!

This Marshall is the one I wanted to use with my 1983 JCM 800. It differentiates itself from that standard Marshall Cab, which still sounds good, with a more modern tone. Couldn't have picked a better choice. It rocks so fu**ing hard but at the same time it has that classic tone. I would say it can attain that Motley Crue, Gun n roses, Van Halen and even metal tone.

I love Marshall cabs and was happy to get this one. The cab sounds great with just about any amp you want to use with it. I run either a Orange Rockerverb III or a Marshall 1987x with it. The only disappointment was upon removing the back the upper baffle board looked like a scrap piece as it had nail holes all in it. For the price I would expect better job from Marshall.

Real plywood, premium vintage cloth and Greenback's Made in England. It weighs almost 90lbs. and came with casters. When mated to a 30 watt RMS vintage Orange AD30 head, the sound is completely classic and you get all the headroom the amp has to offer.

Greenbacks give you that vintage breakup and allow you to achieve that classic tone. I can talk about this classic cab all day. Greenbacks are the way to go and it is a gorgeous cabinet. I highly recommend this cabinet, and I'm sure Hendrix and Page would too.

QUALITY:
Very well made and rugged.
FEATURES:
The only issue I have with Marshall cabinets is that the side handles should be lowerd to the center of the cabinet for easier carrying. Ive always thought that.
VALUE:
For that vintage look and sound, its well worth the price.
SOUND:
This cabinet sounds awesome! I run my older JCM800 50 watt through it.
