This is perfect for small spaces or big venues. I got this after purchasing the portable mini. I have a Marshall that I love but its too intense for my small house. This works great. I get the feel and quality I want without irritating my neighbors and you can’t beat it for the price. It also came incredibly quick. 10/10 recommend! ????

There’s tons of good Amps out there but this Orange Amplifier is one of the best sounding amplifiers I’ve ever heard. Orange has made a good name for themselves, if your looking for that nice classic sound from the 50s 60s era, then this is it Orange is the way to go.
I like a lot of that beach/rockabilly sound and this pretty much gave me the sound I’ve been looking for.

I ordered this over the memorial weekend and received it today,(Wednesday).Having just purchased the new Epiphone Firebird and Flying V,(also from AMS)I figured I'm batting 1000, so I decided to splurge on a new portable, yet powerful combo. It arrived safe in its original packaging. Upon unpacking and plugging it in, it took me all of about 30 seconds to dial in my tones in BOTH CHANNELS! This amp is EXACTLY what I've been looking for for a long time. I have Marshalls, Fenders, Peavys,Line 6's,etc...and this one stands tall with all of them! VERY LOUD! But I can still dial it down and retain an incredibly accurate full on tone. Extremely simple to operate, and I love the fact that it has independent EQ for both channels.My only complaint is that it doesn't come with the footswitch. But if I order it tonight, I know I'll have it on Friday! That's just how AMS rolls! Lol. I've gotten 5 guitars and now this amp from AMS, and NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!!! I'll be a lifetime customer, for sure!!!

Got this as an upgrade over my Marshall Code50. The Orange CR60C is definitely an upgrade. The 4 levels of gain are definitely an asset. It gives you the ability to play from classic rock to metal with the turn of the knob. The clean channel is also very crisp and clear. A guitar with single coils will love it. The amp also takes pedals extremely well. This thing gets pretty loud. You could easily gig with it.
AMS was awesome as well!! I ordered it on A Thursday at 10pm and got it Saturday evening. The amp was in excellent condition. It was packaged great. Double boxed and the amp was still in the plastic. I couldn't be happier with the fast shipping, great condition and the ability to make payments!! Highly recommend AMS!

If you love orange amps. The CR 60 will blow you away. I still can’t believe this thing is solid state! It’s a little heavy but I’m sure that’s partially why it sounds so good. Orange distortion is freaking amazing and The cleans are spectacular! The best way I can describe the distortion is a warm Fuzzy tsunami wave That comforts you as it crushes you to death. ??
I run a hot tubes pedal in the Front as a clean boost with the EQ on and a Sonic maximizer in the effects loop and ??!!! The best sounding solid-state amp on the planet!!! Wow!!! Also works great as a second amp If you’re running a stereo rig. If you already have a Rockerverb or a TH 30 this is a great edition for Those stereo effects!

A friend recommended I look at Orange amps and I tried this one and was impressed with the tones and sound quality. Sounds like a huge combo amp! I love the clean sound when I'm playing acoustic and the dirty channel is awesome combined with my electrics when I want to rock out! AMS is my go-to place for all my musical needs! I love Orange amps. This is my third amp by Orange. I really love how clean my guitar sounds with this amp. I’m a perfectionist and playing clean let’s me know when or if I make a mistake, which pushes me to play better.

I'm serious about when I was 17. I'm 59 so I was 17
in 1977. This amp is awesome to me. I love the way
it sounds. I'm old school anyway and this amp sounds
old school to me. Some younger players might feel
that it's too fuzzy sounding. I get that, with all
the digital modeling crap out there now. It's nice
to get a meat and potatoes type amps without all the
junk I don't need. This is somehow only my 1ST
Orange amp. I don't know why I never bought one
before now. I will be eventually getting something
else. I did get a 1x12 w/ Celestion v-30 in it. That
cab sounds great too. Nice reverb on the amp too. It
gets loud. AMS rocks. Get one if you are looking for
an amp. If you don't like it, return it. AMS is very
good on returns. I have never had a problem with them on returns. John 3:3 See you on the streets of

There's a review below that says "Save your money, buy a Fender." Obviously, the guy has hearing problems. I bought one three weeks ago, and I am BEYOND impressed. For a solid state amp, it's clean channel is the closest thing I've ever heard to a vintage Fender tube amp. Very warm and clean. What I really love about it, is it has separate EQ in the overdrive channel that allows me to go from a Mark Knopfler to a Ritchie Blackmore tone and anywhere in between at the push of a button. Speaking of, that's my ONLY negative comment about this amp, it does NOT come with a footswitch. Get a Fender? I have three guys showing up here this morning to look at my Fender DeLuxe Reverb. Within minutes of collecting the cash from that sale, I will be back here at AMS to buy another one. Then I'll have one for gigs, and one for my studio. Knock on the door.....be back shortly. Yep, Fender is gone, (good riddance) and I will now get off of here and order my second one. :)

Save your money; GET A FENDER

As the title says; save your money and get a Fender Mustang III V.2 (100 watt), or better yet, the Fender Mustang II V.2, or better yet, the Fender Champion 40 (40 watt).
While the Orange does have an OK sounding dirty channel, where gain control volume can be turned way down, that's about where it ends.
The amp is close to 45 Lbs., which is VERY HEAVY for a 1x12 solid state amp., and is wider than it has to be.
The controls are located at the top/back of the unit which is hard to get to if pushed up close to a wall for practice.
The Clean Channel offers NOTHING, and is as milk toast as it can get, which means the speaker is just OK.
I have a lot of new amps from Mesa, Fender (most of my amps), Roland, Marshall, Line 6, Vox, Etc., Etc., and this amp kinda falls
into a boutique-ish one jump chump category that makes it above average for overdrive applications, and close to useless for everything else.
I actually get much, much better overdrive out of my Champion 40, and Mesa V-twin Pre-Amp pedal.

Orange amps have been making legendary amps for many years. They know what musicians want and what it takes to deliver. Their line of micro amps are perfect for traveling from gig to studio, even recording. Every guitar or bass player should have an orange amp in their arsenal and ready for work. 5 stars all the way on these little guys!!
