I ordered this because I was looking for a cheap cab to upgrade the speaker in somewhere down the line. I don’t think I’ll be doing that now. The speaker sounds great. I have no complaints.

I bought this for my son to go with a lunchbox head and I was very surprised at the clarity and punch. Peavey always delivers on sound. I ll be picking another one up for my diavlo mini head.

Works well with my marshall code head and my jet city tube head. Clear sound. Plus the speed in which it arrived, way faster than I expected. AMS is on it!

Speaker is comparable to a Seventy 80(a little "muddy" but still useable). Construction is very nice... I haven't looked inside YET. Mine came with an old school white "Peavey" logo/emblem/badge(not like shown in the stock pics) but I'll be removing it anyhow so it's not an issue.
OVERALL; I'm very pleased

Bought this to pair with my new Peavey 6505 mini head. Can't speak for the stock speaker since I ripped it out immediately in favor of a WGS Retro 30. The cab is made well enough. Made out of plywood, but doesn't feel cheap. Only complaint is the grille cloth is very thin and will probably rip easily.
The cab is also closed back, and is very tight, I had a hard time getting it off. The wiring is sleeve style and not soldered, which is nice. Jack is good quality.
Summary: Nice budget cab. Wouldn't pay any more for it though. Price is fair.

I was waiting to buy the new Peavey 112-6 (1x12) cabinet that Peavey is designing for the 6505MH but it is over twice the price of this cabinet. I don't see much of a difference between either cabinet except the speaker, which I'm going to change anyway so why spend double. It doesn't produce as much bass as a 4x12 cabinet but for a bedroom rockstar, It shouldn't matter anyway. I would buy it again if something ever happens to it.
