Absolute killer head. Super tight gain on channel 2 and 3 that does not need a drive pedal to make the magic happen. This amp has the mid and high gain tone that I was looking for: fast, tight, dry, and dark distortion that does not have a fizzy top end. Plenty of power. Really liking channel 2, which can do a great classic rock or modern rock tone. I matched it with an EVH 2x12 but have also played and recorded through a Torpedo C.A.B. and find that it sounds great with most any cab, probably because the top end does not need to be tamed so much by the cab.
A few think I don’t like are: needing the custom foot-switch; no MIDI control and no easy interface with my MIDI FootSim (1/4 Stereo) control; 4-Cable method with the HX Effects needed a line isolator to prevent ground loops.
Looking forward to getting some mileage out of this one!

I've had almost every tube head you can name....for the price of this Diavlo compared to the high end stuff.....I was absolutely blown away. Such a killer amp and very versatile!!! Killer metal tone and crunch....especially with the 2×12 300watt ElectroVoice speakers it is pushing!! Also has a great classic rock channel...and the clean channel is tweakable as well with it's own gain control. Amazing head!!!

It’s okay. Being an all tube amp I thought that it would have a better punch to it.

The amp is really quite impressive. It goes toe to toe with my randall warhead in which I push a metal muff in front of the stack. My only complaint about the new stack is that I should have bought the full stack instead of the half stack.the gain and crunch of a randall as always and the gut wrenching power of a tube amp you can't go wrong.

Product Review
while i mostly play metal, this amp does not stop there. it is versatile and can do whatever style of music you want it to do. it is well thought out and the controls are very responsive. the gain structure is tight and focused and the little gaps in between chugging, staccato riffs are clean as a whistle with little, to no feedback. i admit that it took me about a week before i finally understood how awesome the gain structure really was, without turning it to 10. the clean channel is bright and crisp. i mostly use the second stage gain for my rhythms and then the boost for lead/melody. i also use an assortment of pedals. half of which i run through the front of the amp and the modulation effects through the effects loop. now, the effects loop really shines here because the levels are perfectly balanced. there is no dramatic volume change when cycling through different pedals, just perfect modulation. you will not find a better 100w amp at this price point! i love this Diavlo!

Love love love it!!! Great sound. I use a Boss ME-80 with this and I play 6 and 7 string guitars. I was able to tone in a great sound using the distortion on the head. Randall strikes yet again!!

Product Review
I play 7 string guitars in a pro level band called Materium.(We are pro level but do not earn our living from music.)The music I play is mainly progressive rock/metal,and jazz rock fusion.I have used modeling gear and solid state amps for live and recordings for the last 5 years.Although my last modeler had good general tones and excellent effects,it still left me wanting more in terms of guitar tone.
Enter the Randall RD100H Diavlo 3 channel Amp Head.I can honestly say I am very impressed by its ability to deliver sparkling cleans, and the 2 modern voiced high gain channels deliver the goods in the distortion department!Even though the 3 channels share a global eq,because each channel is voiced differently, you can cover the bases between pristine cleans, tight hard modern metal and rock rhythms, and searing, blistering high sustaining leads .This amp really cuts through the band mix,and I couldn't
't be happier with my new guitar tone! Thanks Randall,I am convert now!
