I bought this for the Tascam DP-008EX, believing it may work with the right adapter. This foot switch has the micro sized stereo 2.5mm plug which is smaller than a 1/8" headphone jack.
I haven't used it but it is built well and buttons seem to activate well.

The foot switch works fine. However, do not purchase a Tascam product if you want customer support for when one of their products fail. Trying to acquire a small isolated circuit board that is the TRS socket for the foot switch requires the purchase of the entire re orders circuit board. The cost is almost as much as a new re order.

I use this almost every time I record. (Sometimes I get it right the first time.) This pedal allows me to punch in an out quietly and effortlessly every time. Great product!

This makes my Recording Start/Stops MUCH easier by NOT having to remove my hands from my Mixing Board to Star and Stop my TASCAM Digital Recorders. Very nice Accessory.

The RC3F 3Way Footswitch is an absolute must have accessory for anyone recording alone or just need more convenience in your tracking sessions. Well built, easy to set up and easy to use. A no brainer purchase for anybody making serious recordings.

This foot pedal does it all. A huge improvement over the early model. A must have for all Tascam users
