    Product Description

Ultra high output humbucker built for aggressive playing styles. Recommended for punk, garage, thrash, metal and other heavy rock styles.

Designed for the heaviest tones a passive pickup can produce. The combination of three ceramic magnets, over-wound coils and twelve black oxide cap screws make the Invader an electrifying force of energy. The wide magnetic field pumps power into your amp with a totally heavy sound. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

The Invader neck pickup has considerably reduced output for tonal versatility.

The wide pole pieces work for both humbucker and Trembucker string spacing.

Seymour Duncan Invader Black Set Features

    • Magnet type: 3 large ceramic bars
    • D.C. Resistance: 7.2k-neck, 16.8k-bridge

What is your opinion of this product?
Way back in the 80's I first had a bridge invader and it was mighty good that was before the were wax potting the passive pick ups now a days they pretty much wax pot them all that's awesome cause back in the day that was a trick we would have to do our selves it was hard, anyway This new Invader set is just what I needed I was actually running a set of Seymour Duncan Blackouts but I like the tones that these hot passive pick ups deliver better I play mainly metal but I love blues too and just because these are bad a$$ metal pick ups dont mean you cant get sweet clean tones either just roll back your volume some and don't forget when you put them in or tell your tech that you need to use the value of the capacitor that the shematic calls out for I believ it was 74 ohms it will tell u on the diagram because using that value of capacitor actually gave me a wider range of tones to allso play with. Am I satisfied?????????? OOOOOOOOOHHHHH YYYAAAAA!!!!!!!!! fixed me right up!!!!!
