Tone Quality: Medium attack, full, balanced sound
      • Suggested Microphone Placement: 18 inches (.5 m) to 3 feet (1 m) back from the speaker, on-axis with the speaker cone

      Work Horse Mic
      Product Rating

      Product Review

The old shure 57 is a work horse after decades the mic can work in any application and sound great. If there is any mic that you should have in your gear is a 57 shure. It hasn't changed in years and I haven't seen any mic be as true as the 57.

Great value on a staple item

      Product Review

Everyone needs a 57 right? This deal basically got you a free mic stand and cable for what you would pay for a 57 anyway. The mic stand is of fair quality as well as the cable. Go mic that snare or guitar cabinet!

      Industry Standard Must Have!!!

      Product Review

If your mixing and recording an instrument or cab please don't forget to buy one of these. I suggest getting 2 and mixing them together or to just have 1 more for a backup in case you drop one. For the price there's no reason to not add the Shure SM57 to your cart today!

      Product Review

The most versatile mic I have ever come across, they got the design perfect in the 60s and its found in studios big and small. Great on snare, hihats and toms, beautiful on guitar amps.

The swiss army knife of microphones!

      Product Review

Writing a review on an SM57 in 2019 is crazy. Everyone knows how great they are. The number of uses they have. Durability. Reliability. The sound. The feel. It's a great mic, and everyone should own at least one. I've always used other mics but decided recently it's time to keep a couple in my locker for when the time calls, and that I did. Buy one, you won't regret it.
