I like how realistic it feels. I wanted the feel of an acoustic set but not the noise I couldn’t dumpen the sounds... it wouldn’t feel right and I couldn’t hear myself play during a play along this specific set is the ultimate solution for my needs. It sounds so good feels so good and the module got songs and tutorial help to assist me in learning different types of songs. I really like this set

Honestly the kit is phenomenal and functions exactly as it should! It is great once you get the settings dialed in for your playing style. The kit is very responsive and with the 8 channels of trs out it has made multi-tracking a breeze. The best part of it is I live in a duplex and my land lord doesn’t even hear anything and I am able to lay down tracks at all hours because it is so quiet. I would definitely recommend this kit for anyone who needs to be able to practice quietly or wants to record multi track drums and doesn’t want to invest in mics/ XLRs. That being said after you update the module if the over 1000 kits isn’t enough sound for you you can import your own samples.
In conclusion I must say I am extremely impressed because I am an acoustic drummer myself and refused to play electric kits for years because they never sounded or felt real. The sounds are authentic because the samples used on the kits are from real drums. The drums are extremely responsive and can play all of my dynamics without any “machine gunning” spas far as responsiveness and sound both this is a HUGE win!

This Electric a drum set right out of the Box is probably one of the most comprehensive pieces of the equipment I ever had the fortune of owning. The incredible amount versatility that this set achieves is quite amazing. The mounting bar allows you to position the triggers in your optimal playing range allowing you to easily move around the drum set however you like to set up your playing-plane. The heads feel amazing and respond to any rudiment you throw at them; flames, cheeses, drags, riffs all come out sounding as clean as you can play them! Having 4 cymbals out-of-body is amazing and allows for more creativity than the average 2 or 3 cymbal box kit. The kick drum feels and responds amazing and doesn't slide away when your playing.
There are a ridiculous amount of pre-made drum kits that all sound great. The sound quality of all the samples is unbelievable. Whether your looking for a classic sounding kit or something experimental, you will not be at a loss for finding the right kit. You can really hear the differences of the wood kits! There are at least a few dozen different synthesizer-kits that you can use to create amazing grooves both in hip-hop style, EDM, dubstep, and my favorite the bass-funk sets that use the hi hat and 2 cymbals and bass-guitar accompaniment! I highly recommend the Alesis pro kit for any percussionist or drummer. It can handle every demand a modern working drummer needs from recording to self-looping and sampling. Amazing work guys! And thank you AMS for making it possible to afford such an amazing music instrument!
As much as I love this kit, there are two things that could be better, although it is still amazing! For an electric kit the cymbals are amazing! Professional drummers are going to want to upgrade to metal-electric-cymbals, mostly for feel reasons. The rubber responds well but there are better electric cymbal options out there....for a lot of money. So still a great value on these very amazing multi-zone electric cymbals.
Lastly the hi-hat open and close mechanism seems to be alittle crude. It could be my fault but I feel like the hi-hat does not respond as naturally as normal hi-hats, which makes valvations more difficult, even though they sound and feel very strong!
I recommend buying this if your looking for a serious electric kit! It's a beautiful instrument and endlessly fun to play as well as an amazing tool.
9.97 out of 10! Seriously!

this is my 3rd drum kit, had Mapex and a sonor. With this kit I love that I can play in my apartment without disturbing my neighbors headphones on... also the amount of different things you can do with this kit makes it one of the most affordable and versatile set on the market.. well worth the price.

I bought theys edrums cause most places you play are not that big and trying to play lighter on a full drum kit is really not fun to play so I can play the mess out of these and the. Will not get any louder then i tell my mixer the drum size s are a real treat thes only 1 8 in pad in the hole kit unlike the competition kit at around the same price there is so many sounds on the module its really the best e drum kit I have ever owned and I have had a few thanks ams for the payment plan

Amazing kit, love the natural feel, the computer head has a ton of great sounds and amazing response. The only down side I have experienced if the hi-hat takes a little work to get it just right. I use in a condo so I cannot make too much noise, this is great for my needs.

This drum kit has enhanced every aspect of my music career. Not only is it the best looking drum kit I’ve ever had or even seen, but it is incredibly responsive. It picks up ghost beats and responds to how hard each pad is hit with applicable level of sound. The interface is extremely easy to use. It has a galaxy of sounds you can program and customize. I’ve never been happier or more satisfied with any other kit. It’s truly the best drum set money can buy. AMS finance payment plans made it all possible for me, a full time student to experience this work of art. I’d strongly recommend this kit to anybody.

I am not any professional drummer, I bought this drum set for my recording studio. And the drummer I've had in my studio have enjoyed playing this kit. Has a lot of Versatility from many different styles of drumming. And it sounds amazing on my recording.
The only true complaints I have of this drum kit, is the hardware.
The hardware that holds the drums to the rack, come loose all the time and a couple of them have already stripped out completely and I've had to modify it to make them work.
If this drum kit was to be moved frequently and set up for live shows, I do not believe it would hold up very well. But for me it stays in my studio and doesn't travel around to shows.

I bought my drumset after relocating to an East coast apartment. I never thought in a million years that I would own an electronic kit but let me tell you after sizing the kit for me, I couldn't stop jamming. Well that is until my neighbors started knocking. No worries, there is no friction between me and my neighbors, I invested in some serious headphone. The point of all of this is, I love this kit so much that I think I'm going to name my first child Alesis Pro Kit or something similar. Enjoy folks and drum with purpose.

I was extremely hesitant in purchasing this kit because of previous negative reviews of it, specifically regarding triggering issues. Then I learned Alesis released the 1.4 firmware update and how it addressed many of the issues people were having with this kit. So, after taking the plunge and purchasing the strike pro, I am happy to say that this drum set is as great as I hoped it would be. No regrets. No need to spend more money on similar Roland kits with less features. The biggest plus for me was the ability to track 8 separate individual drum outputs as audio right into my daw.

Excellent kit with great hardware and good sounds. I play a Roland TD30 at my church gig, but I could not justify the additional cost for my personal kit. It takes a little more tweeking to get good sounds, but the kit is totally worth it.

I love love love my strike pro kit! Yes the hi hat has its issues but I happen to have a set of gen 16 cymbals and have been using them with this kit. Great sounds and effects. Even have recorded with this thing and you’d never know it was an electronic kit. And the shells are freakin sweet looking!!

I bought this drum kit after using a less expensive E drum kit. The difference is almost unexplainable. This kit sounds so real and the response of the mesh heads is beyond belief. Its intuitive as well so as you play it locks in on your style and just keeps sounding tighter. Hi hat control took a little getting used too but once it locked in - no problems at all. Every drummer should have this kit. End of story

Once Roland's patent on the mesh head triggers expired, it allowed more reasonably priced brands like Alesis the opportunity to get into the game. Having owned a previous Alesis kit I knew I was in good hands, but the quality and value of this kit are pretty astounding. We use this kit in studio paired with Superior Drummer 3 and it is a dream. The red shells are beautiful and definitely sell the experience of playing on a real kit. I haven't had one drummer complain. I highly recommend this kit.

This set is beautifully crafted and with onboard effects like eq, compression, reverb and many others you get sound larger and better than the real thing! Especially with its 1600+ samples and 120+ preset kits. This 11 pies drumkit and module have become my go-to kit for all my recording and sampling needs- with USB connectivity, seamless integration with Mac & PC, and sample triggering that is unmatched by any other module (due to a new algorithm created by alesis for this flagship drumkit)

I was skeptical at first and for a little while after the purchase, but then I got the 1.4 firmware update and OMG, the difference in the playability of this drum set and the sound sets it contains is night and day, would I recommend the Alesis Strike Pro, yes I would to anybody in the market for the very best electronic drums at this amazing price point, I still cannot believe that I got this setup on a 12 month payment plan, which made it ridiculously easy to both own and pay off, I love my Alesis Strike Pro drum kit and I love AMS, thank you guys!!

I must say, I am a loyal Alesis fan, I have the DM10 Studio, I have a Pro Pad. This set is fantastic!! New sounds, sensitivity is great. Module easy to work; and price point is spot on. I would buy one of these again over competitors. Great job Alesis!!!
