Good quality product and I have already purchased 3 more for my friends.

I would say as far as features go there arent many just 4 knobs
turn the knobs to your liking and thats it
What it does to the sound is amazing, and its ease of use is so much better than trying to fumble around a 31 band eq while playing on stage, need more low end? turn the knob ! need more clarity, turn a knob, it works wonders!

fine to rely on if it is going to go out will doit right off the bat.

Read the instructions and no problem,My first one was broke but the old(fine return of ams)replace it fast and was fine after(40 days) now.
This is the question!for what you want in sound you want it the way you made it,THIS DOES IT period.it is not god so you have to make the sound first.

Balanced connections.
I put in line after my Eq Processor and before an ultra bass(like an x-over), Turned it all on dropped in a mp3, made some adjustments, just about took the eq to a flat lined response, made some adjustment on the maximizer, sat back,,, listened, turned it off, listened,,,,, turned it back on and listened, i like what i heard, but what blew me away was when it went live with the band, they were also blown away with the clarity, this is the best and the last link in my pa system.(I Lie)
UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!! The differance it made is truley Unbelieveable.

If you are running a low-budget project studio, this will perk up your sound more than an equalizer or a compressor will. Two knobs to turn, that's it, no learning curve. Get your mix without it, then add it on.

Saved an Album project

I was mastering an album project and brought in an 882 to try to save some dull mixes. There had been a lot of tape machine problems and the tracks had gone through several generations of transfers during the sessions. By the mastering stage, everything was very dull and lifeless. The BBE completely rejuvenated the songs and saved the album. Won't fix a bad mix, but will put a shine on dull tracks.

QUALITY:
This product rates very high as far as quality. No scratches, blemishes. Clean finish.
FEATURES:
I think BBE could have done a better job at making this product more refined and attractive. The color is fine; but the lights and the knobs are clumsy looking.
EASE OF USE:
Very easy to use. There are four knobs. Two for the left channed and two for the right channed. (One bass and one treble.)
VALUE:
A little too much money for a plain looking piece of DJ equipment.
SOUND:
So far I am very impressed with the BBE 882I Sonic Maximizer. If you are playing a CD without this piece you will hear the music, but the lyrics and instruments will be in the background unnoticed. When processed through the BBE 882I Sonic Maximer, eveything comes to life. The bass is more punchy, the lyrics are clear, and the treble and instruments will be churping like a bird singing at 5 o' clock in the morning. Very impre

Solid as a rock for a rack unit.
FEATURES:
Simple layout, This one's a no brainer.
EASE OF USE:
2 knobs on each side, How hard can it be?
VALUE:
Seems like a fair price, maybe a bit cheaper would have been nice considering there's not much control.
SOUND:
This is the best part. I connected this to my Mesa Triple Recto and I went from a Godsmack sound to Metallica And Justice For All sound! This is great for guitar players and home studio users. Actually it's great for anyone into sound.

I am a long time user of the BBE units. I bought this unit to replace my BBE 822A which I purchased new over 10 years ago. I love how it corrects the sound and I can't live without it. Sound becomes more defined and clear!
