I’ve had several practice amps two Fender Mustangs, the small Vox, Boss Katana air, Bugera v5. This is my favorite I liked it so much I bought the 5 watt also. But this is perfect for bedroom or throw in the car and take it with you. All kinds of tones covered without confusing apps or more time spent twisting knobs vs playing guitar!!

This amp is terrific! And so is ams! Got my order next day! To start with the reverb on this amp is very fender and sounds awesome! And with the over drive and voice channels you get so many tones at your fingertips! I play mostly blues and southern/classic rock and this amp does it all I ditched my pedal board!

Was looking for an affordable, low wattage tube amp that I could use in my home office and this one delivered. The speaker can be a a bit lacking when things get driven hard, but overall it's a fun, quite versatile amp. The ISF allows for tones that go from American to British, and places in between. Reverb is digital but sounds fine. I typically keep it on the clean channel and get the level of drive I want with the gain control. Can recommend for home-use

Have had it a couple months. I LOVE this amp. Very warm tube sound as opposed to the solid states. The reverb is excellent.

This this is a absolute beast! I have played guitar off and on throughout the years. I am a tone snob, but I have never gotten a tone that has made me happy with solid state amps. So I've wanted a tube amp ever since I heard one, esp after hearing bandmates triple rec. I was doubtful with getting a one watt with a eight inch speaker, but I have been blown away! This this is unbelievably loud Beautiful cleans and way more gain than I was expecting! The different tones you can get from this with just one knob is very impressive.
If you are looking for a cheaper/practice tube amp this thing will not disappoint!!

It's nice to have a practice amp with a tube sound that you can hear with headphones. Add a speaker and you can use live. It has reverb and gain for your liking. Can't lose with this buy!

Purchased this for practice and home recording. Great sounding little amp. The multiple voicings give it range. I play a PRS humbucking guitar and a 3 single coil Tele and dial in sounds easily. It responds like a tube amp should nice overdriven sounds and breakup you can control with the volume. Eventually I will change the tubes and get an extension cab but the amp sounds great stock, The only reason I do not give this 5 stars is Blackstar itself, at the time I bought this the foot pedal is impossible to find, and their web site needs updating.
