I really love the clear sound. I get from my Gibson when using these instead of chords. Not having wires all around is such an advantage and convenience. I have used these along with my wireless mikes and found no interference. As I said, the sound that is produced from using these Is every bit as good as when I used Cords. If you are tired of being tied down to cords, you will love going wireless

The Boss WL-20 wireless system was a great idea. No batteries, no big box hanging off your paints or guitar strap. But it fails in performance, which is a deal breaker. It breaks up frequently and I'm not 3 feet from it in a straight line open area. I would not recommend this wireless system. Thinking about returning it.

great connection, super low latency boss nailed it on these. Super clean sound without any additional noise usually found in wireless systems. Can’t recommend enough. With these I can check the mail, take out the trash, or move about an entire venue with no issues or cutoffs. You need this kit!

I've had good experience with equipment from BOSS, the price was reasonable, and the long duty time swung the sale. There's no noise or latency I can hear, and works up 20 feet away from the receiver, even with wireless mics on the stage. One word of caution; the transmitter won't fit recessed jacks without an extension. This was an issue with my Ibanez SR506 bass as the jack is slanted and deeply recessed into the body. I bought a one foot 1/4" TRS male/female cable. The transmitter is attached to my strap, plugged into the cable, which is plugged into the bass. It's great to no longer be tripping over a jack cable!

I got into the habit of charging when I got home from a gig and then putting it back in my bag so it is ready for the next but this doesn't work. The unit will die within 2 hours unless you charge it up to the moment you want to use it.

The Boss WL20 is easy to understand and use. The instructions are easy. After ten minutes of reading and checking, the transmitter and receiver were charging correctly. At first I hooked them up incorrectly, but they didn't break! Very happy. There naturally smart.

Have used for about 10 gigs now. Small stage in a dive bar. Works fine if staying fairly close, but if I go across the room for sound check, it will start cutting out. I do lose a little “umph” or “juice” compared to my lava cable, but it’s been nice to roam some. I got this form factor since I don’t have any pedalboard space left.

This is my 3rd different wireless system, and this will be my last. This system is awesome! Very user friendly, 100% cable free, long battery life, and it sounds great. My tone never altered, and it made me more confident move around freely, thus boosting my stage presence.

It's very similar to the Line 6 Relay G10, the big difference being the Boss WL-20 doesn't require the charging unit the Line 6 product has.
It would have gotten the 5th star if the transmitter(part that plugs into the guitar) was designed to flex at the end of the plug.

Crystal clear sound transfer over long distances and long, long battery life. Exactly what a guitar player needs to wander- even to the "refreshment area".

I was very much looking forward to the Boss WL20's. I own the Line 6 Relay G10 but was looking for an even more compact system that didn't use the larger base receiver unit. (The Line 6 G10 works great, by the way). Well, the sound on the WL20 was fine but I had problems with them right away. I noticed drop outs when they were near other RF devices (like another wireless unit from Xvive) - an issue that never occurred with my Line 6. Also, the little switch on the receiver plug, which turns the unit on when inserted, would not work with a number of my pedals. I have two TC Polytune tuners and the unit would not turn on when plugged into either of them. Also, it would not work on the deep offset Ibanez guitar jacks -again, an issue that the Line 6 does not have. So unfortunately, I had to return them and bought a second Line 6 G-10 from AMS. Sorry Boss - you need to fix those issues. And as for the Line 6 G-10 - amazing tone and works great - that one I'll keep for sure.

This is a fantastically easy product to use. Just plug it in and go. The range is fantastic and the response time makes it feel very natural to use. My one complaint would be that the charge time is a bit on the long side.

I wanted the WL20L because it was described as best for both active and passive pickups. When I realized my mistake, I called to cancel, but it had already shipped. Customer service told me I had 45 days to return it. I didn't want to wait until November for the WL20L so I gave it a shot. It works well with all of my guitars active and passive. I love it! So nice not to trip over a cord! By all means, lose the cord!
