This slide has a good sound. I ordered it looking for a knuckle slide (a shorter slide version that still allows using your fingertip on the slide finger o play during non-slide parts). This is a standard length slide. Also, as others have noted, it is a little tighter fit than glass slides of the medium diameter size.

Dunlop continues to exceed my expectations with their products. Brass is a great material for slide as it brings out a searing quality and the sustain is great. It is a bit heavy and takes a little to get use to in the control department, but that goes away quickly. Great slide.

What can I say, it’s a slide. Everyone’s preference varies, brass, glass, steel etc, the major problem with any slide is the fit. Knowing your finger size in mm will really help with a proper fit.
