Product Review Have 720. Was going to upgrade to 1440.... Longer record time, and one shot switch. Saw this! Just ordered it.

Product Review This is my first experience with a dedicated looper pedal and I am very pleased with it. EHX has been on my board for a while and this thing will probably be a mainstay for a long time to come. Super useful and fun to use and has a minimal foot print so it doesn’t take up too much space on the board. Keep in mind that due to the fact that the left and right channels are completely independent from one another, if you record a loop thru the LEFT channel, that loop will only play back if it’s hooked up thru the LEFT channel. For example when I got this pedal I immediately plugged it in to the practice amp at home and I had it plugged into the left channel and made a few loops. I later brought the pedal onto my main pedal board and hooked it up thru the right channel and those first loops I made would not play back. I hooked it up thru the left channel and bingo-bango the loops played back! Just something to be aware of. I was confused and emailed ehx and they promptly responded and let me know what the deal was. There is a minor learning curve but nothing ridiculous. I do believe this pedals functionality will improve with the optional foot switch to cue up presets without kneeling down so I plan to pick one of those up eventually. The one main knob navigation thru options and settings will take some slight getting used to but it is perfectly useable and intuitive in how it’s organized. Sound quality is great, feature set is excellent for my purposes. I intend on using it to cue up samples and to use my pedalboard “as an instrument” creating soundscape and ambient sounds which the reverse and octave functions will help that along nicely. Also as a practice/writing tool to play over loops to jam around on. Overall, this pedal is exceptionally fun to use, useful, well designed and as a long time ehx fan I expected it to be an awesome, high quality pedal and I was not disappointed in the least. Great looper and I definitely recommend it. Once I start messing with it it’s hard to stop tinkering lol.

Product Review for the money I like this more than the tc ditto. the things that make it better are the A and B buttons for 2 parts of a song for each memory bank. the reverse and octave buttons are great. the drum/metronome is great too. for live application I am sure I could figure out how to use it smoother, but at home I usually just set the tempo and record, then delete or re-record parts, bending down if I have to. that could be a bummer playing live, though I have seen people do that. I had one before and sold it in a pinch, then a year or so later got another one and got rid of the tc ditto. this pedal is fun, the knob is now silent, it used to have a loud click, they say it has always been silent, but I don't believe them, lol. this pedal is lots of fun and has a good sound quality as well. I run to 2 amps, but for a while I had guitar in one input then the keyboard in another and they ran to different amps!

Product Review There are lots of loopers out there and it can be confusing to know which model does what. After consulting with AMS, I went with the Electro-Harmonix 22500 and couldn't be happier. You get two independent loop controls. You can capture loops with XLR and 1/4" inputs, so I'm able to switch between instruments (guitar, bass, keys) and a mic for vocal ideas. This looper uses an SDHC card for storage (one is included in the box). There are 99 loop slots per card and you can go up to a 32GB card. I don't ever find myself wishing for more looping time. I found recording, stacking, and recalling loops on the 22500 to be easy. I was quickly setting loops to specific time signatures, adjusting loops to fit different tempos, and coordinating multiple loops together. It's also easy to send loops out to your computer and load audio files back into the 22500! It does take more time to work through the deeper features, but every day I'm realizing just how powerful this looper is! 5/5
