I bought this to replace the stock speaker in a Fender Deluxe Reverb and it is perfect! It will be even better when it is broken in! Nice highs (no ice pick), nice mids, and round bottom end. When overdriven it holds together better than the stock speaker. It doesn’t get flabby. I highly recommend!

Punchy and Clear Bass/Mids!!!

Very punchy and full bass, miss, and beautiful treble. I replaced the stock speaker that was in my Blues Deluxe Reissue (Custom Eminence) and it made a HUGE difference. The original pushed out very flabby bass/mids and the treble sounded like a tin can to me.
It was between this and the Swamp Thang for me, but I feel this gave the amp what it was missing as far as the Bass/Mid/Treble. The majority of my playing is Bluesy (90% of time clean) and play a lot of "Hendrixisms" and it nails the tone I had been searching for in my head.
If you are going for that clean Lenny/Slow Dancing/Little Wing sound where all the frequencies are used and shine I say go for this speaker!
Note: I am playing through AM Pro Strats SSS/ Silver Sky for most part. Straight into Blues Deluxe Reissue and the spring reverb up to 6/7. Also, let it break in a bit to really hear the full potential.
Hope this helps someone!

Sounded good right out of the box before broken in. Sound even better now. I use it with my Fender Prosonic, great for sweet rock tone, and country.

I bought this speaker for my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III Tweed to replace the Jensen. Much to my surprise the Eminence sounds like crap. Flabby low end and muted highs. Don’t waste your money on this dog. A Warehouse Reaper HP is 1,000 times better for nearly the same price.
This is the second time I’ve tried an Eminence speaker and I won’t make this mistake again.

Superb speaker - Heard About These Thru John Mayer

A truly amazing speaker that I wasn't familiar with until I heard Rene' Martinez (John Mayer's guitar tech for over 15 years now) when he spoke about Alessandro cabinets during a rig rundown. Then saw that Alessandro took Mayer several of his modded Deluxe Reverb amps to John during this past Dead & Company Tour and they have these same speakers in them. They sound broken in right off the bat and cover the full sound spectrum - great highs & lows and just full on tone! A++++ LOVE THIS SPEAKER!!!!

I put the GASC64 in my '74 Deluxe Reverb and it sounds great! It's warm and smooth, yet spanky. It really does sound like an old speaker. Other speakers I've tried in this amp are a JBL k120 (great sound, but not what I was after) and a Cannabis Rex (very good in this amp, as well). That being said, the GASC64 sounds the best of the 3. Really good, old school Fender tones. I also own a '68 Pro Reverb, and the GASC64 reminds me of the Utah's (underrated speaker) but with better bass and slightly warmer. It has that warmth and smoothness of an old speaker. I'm actually going to put a pair of these in the Pro Reverb. This is the sound I was looking for! *for reference, I play a strat. Haven't tried it with 'buckers.
