ESP did a great job on this 7 string! It's easy to play and the evertune system is unbelievable. This guitar has a great sound and is easy to play. I would recommend this if you're in the market for a 7 string. It's such a thick sounding guitar with a beautiful finish. Would recommend to the more advanced players but, anyone can enjoy this guitar. Top of the line 7 string.

I really wanted to like this guitar. It just felt cheap and noisy. Lots of pieces always vibrating and ringing. I like the concept of the guitar and looks but just didn’t match up playing it.

Product Review
I have 9 other 7 and 8 string guitars from most of the brands that make them. Given that this is a signature model and an LTD I was a little hesitant to pick this up. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the guitar, the playability, and the incredible sound.
The Good:
- nice flat neck plays like butter (but isn't too flat)
- high quality components all around
- Fishman pickups are monsters, currently my favorite pickups due to huge range, tight low end, and incredible heavy / clear distortion. You can hear every note in a chord but they still sound like chords and not separated.
- Evertune bridge is next to impossible to throw out of tune, but will take some reading to understand how it does it's thing.
- build quality is absolutely what I would expect for a guitar of this price. Excellent with no surface blemishes or cut corners.
- Included case is nice
Where it could be improved:
- Purple finish is beautiful but a tad dark. When the light hits it just right you'll see the gorgeous flame maple and purple interact. In low light (most normal lighting) the guitar might as well be black.
-The evertune bridge is really great technology but takes some getting used to. When the strings start breaking in they slack a bit which doesn't throw it out of tune, but does require adding tension again so that you can bend notes. If you haven't used one I recommend reading up or watching some videos to decide if it is right for you. After the strings are broken in the thing is a tank
- This is just nitpicky, but I don't find the evertune bridge to be particularly sexy looking hardware. It has an almost vintage look for a clearly modern guitar. An acceptable trade since it tries to blend into the body with the black color, but would love to see evertune spend some time making the look less blocky and more suited to modern guitar aesthetics.
In short, I love this guitar. It is well built, sexy, and sounds insane. I primarily play metal, and this will be my main 7 string from here (mostly due to the fishmans).

Easily one of the best LTD models available.
Having owned many high end ESP models, this guitar easily hangs.
To add the cherry on the cake, this INCLUDED a case to which I was not expecting

Not a single thing wrong with this guitar. It's perfect in every way possible. You will not be disappointed if you choose to purchase this! It came with a hardshell case as well, which I wasn't even expecting. I purchased a minor blemished version and I'm still trying to find the blemish! Thanks to AMS for the top notch service and quality instruments! I'm a customer for life now!

One of the best if not the flagship model of LTD in a long time. The smooth maple finish is unbelievable, the Fishman Fluence pickups with active/passive modes is incredible, you get heavy, and bright tones. The Evertune bridge is a dream! Never goes out of tune and can still drop A and go bananas! You have to look at the headstock to remember that this axe is an LTD and not an ESP custom! Truly unbelievable and such a happy owner of this beauty!

I feel that this guitar is a excellent canvas to bring players into the 7 string world of playing if they had been a little hesitant. The neck on the guitar is the perfect size for those with big hands and keeps the low B string in reach and almost effortless to reach while playing. The looks of the guitar make it a real piece of eye candy while maintaining that signature ESP headstock which give it the badass stance. The perfect guitar for getting out your 7 string ambitions.

An amazingly solid guitar. Love the Evertune setup. And of course the fastest shipping and by far the best music store ever. Will always buy my gear @ AMS.
