This is a great hard sided Mandolin Case. It will definitely protect your Mandolin. I have a F Style Mandolin and it fits perfectly! Love the pockets on the outside.

As my headline denotes, it's a sturdy case. Also lightweight. Protects instrument quite well. If you have an a type mandolin, I can honestly recommend this case.

It's a gig bag! No, its a hard case! No, it's both. Its light, easy to carry, and has lots of extra storage, but it protects every bit as well as a traditional vinyl on wood hard case. I would get one for every instrument I own, if only Gator made them all.

I purchased this case to store my Ibanez M522S F style mandolin. It is a great light weight hard case. The case has back pack style straps that makes it convenient to carry it. Another great feature that is has is a velcro strap that crosses the zipper line outside the case; it helps secure the instrument. I am happy to highly recommend the purchase of this case.
