Product Rating Product Review Ultra-portable, small footprint and low height. Nice feel to the buttons and knobs. Deep rezzy bass sounds, sparkling synth sounds. Mostly analog drum kits, but punchy kicks and crisp snares. Great sound tweaking capability, with multiple dedicated knobs. Full Ableton Live compatible, import your sounds directly into Live via USB! Has SD card port (if you need one) and MIDI in & out (with included MIDI adapters). Kaoss pad built in! I use this as a studio device, but it would work well stand-alone or in a live setting.

Product Review Ive been playing music for 14 years and this is the most useful instrument I have ever owned. I never get tired of it. Track creation is quick, I usually spend about 15 mins start to finish. Lots of synth, drums and hits to choose from. It took me about 2 months to get really intimate with it. There are a lot of sound modulation options and FX to tweek. A good way to learn how this thing works is to dive into the presets and try to recreate them. Then try to recreate a track you heard in the car. About an hour a day for a couple weeks of this and you'll be pumping out some tracks in no time. Cons would be the pads, between music stores and friends. I've been able to play with 4 different electribes. The pads care very inconsistent. Stiffer in some areas, no tactile feel in some. Large variations in the amount of pressure used to activate a pad. A few have this issue, I exchanged one for this every same issue. Korg should release a fix video for this.

Product Review I knew it weren't a Tempest, but such limitations like the LFO time control is not smooth, instead it jumps in intervals, or each track has "send/return type ambiance effects, but it's only ON or OFF, can't control how much reverb let's say you are getting on each instrument, are a deal killer. Hello!? The thing looks sturdy and have a certain heavy feel to it I like. The only way to control the arpeggiator is to move your finger on the XY pad?! You must be kidding, Korg! You don't build pro instruments anymore, just toys for kiddos? The wave forms are pretty good, so what? It puts out very convincing audio, yes. So does my iPhone. If you are just a bit more than a wannabe "performing" DJ, don't get it!
