These speakers have a great sound with excellent bass reaponse. The bluetooth feature is incredibly easy use and gives you the ability to control them from your tablet or phone. I bought these to ise as stage monitors and after using them i will be purchasing more in the future.

I'm not a dj or an audiophile by any means. I purchased these speakers to enjoy outdoor movies with my family. The sound quality is top notch and the set-up is straight forward (even for the less tech savvy). Having a powered speaker that pairs with another powered speaker with out the use of a mixer is a plus. Less chance for user error. I'm enjoying the speakers now and will definitely enjoy them more during the warmer summer months. The cost is not nearly as high as the value. I'm sure my HOA is going to be pissed XD

I thought I would give Mackie another try, it’s been many years since I last owned a mackie.
I was looking forward to using the Bluetooth feature ( which does work well)! But the sound at high volume was literally painful to people’s ears. Luckily I used them alongside QSC CP 12’s so I could hear the difference. No comparison! Cp 12’s were so much warmer sounding and easy on the ear. These speakers are at a good price point but not at the expense of my hearing.

My band was using a very bad setup and needed a much better option. After research, I decided on the Mackie Thump series, they had everything I was looking for at a very good price. They arrived at my door within a few days and they were beautiful! Then my band had our first practice with them and wow what a different sound! We could finally hear my vocals and guitar! I recommend these to anyone looking for a good brand, pair of speakers with good sound, and easily affordable.

I am a Mackie Thump fan and I love these speakers. I wish I would have purchased more. The bluetooth comes in handy and allows less cables when setting up a distant speaker.

The first time I heard the Thump series, I was at the Namm show in Anaheim 2019. I'm a singing DJ & I live to know whats on the forefront of what's new. I heard the Thump 15's but I didn't get a chance to hear the 12bsts. It just so happens I had a chance to get the 12bst for a gig I had in Pennsylvania to entertain 300 people. The gig was an outside & if any of you know how outside gigs go you know the sound dissipates fast so you have to make up for with speakers that are powerful. I paired up the12s with powered EV 1000 W 12 woffer. What unbelievable sound came out. Clarity Thump deep bass everything about them is exactly as they preach. I can't wait to use them again and I tell you what, Mackie has made me a believer in there sound again.

I own 6 Thumps. Two Thump 12 and two 15s and 2 Thump Boosted. They work okay. They can't handle the low end as much as they are advertised to be. They sound great up until you push up the bass. Them everything compresses. Limits too much. Can't get robust bass guitar or bass on keyboard.

I've been shopping DJ monitors for a while now. I really wanted QSC but didn't want the QSC price tag. The Mackie 12 Boosted have many of the same options including WIFI control. Although the integrated EQ isn't very good on these I just run them flat and mix them down on my board. Bass is punchy but you'll definitely want to run a sub for a real bassy sound. Despite a few flaws these speakers are well worth the money and will keep me happy until my next upgrade to QSC.

Was biased as came from some old JBL's but wanted a bluetooth capable speaker for some small house parties. Overall the highs kick in and never see a clip light. They are well worth it. Excellently priced and AM has the best prices hand down.

I bought this product for its bluetooth capabilities and its price point, after receiving and setting up the speakers I was stunned at all the capabilities and its clarity and loudness. It is also light and very easy to connect bluetooth. The makie thump software gives you total control over the equipment. And if you are wounded yes you can connect a subwoofer but only with xlr cables.if you are looking to start or add to your setup this will give you the ability to set up with no sound board and right of your phn or tablet.
If you are new to AMS they customer service is outstanding, and if you are looking for pay as you go they have an unbeatable financing option. If you are in the lower states like we are you know not even major competitors will ship these products and if do the shipping will cost more then the product but not at AMS the shipping price will have you coming back to purchase all your equipment like we do.

I absolutely love these speakers! The Bluetooth setup is so easy and the sound is amazing. I got my speakers right on time for Thanksgiving and we had an awesome Karaoke party! Everyone was asking where did I get the speakers from and to be able to control my speakers with an app is so awesome. I will probably purchase the subwoofer next for added bottom! No regrets here! It's easy to say something is "the best" but the best at what? Is it the best sounding? Is it the best quality? Is it the best price? I would have to say this little Mackie 12" PA is the best at what it's supposed to do. I haven't done any blind tests, but this little thing sounds great. It's small enough to throw a couple of them in my Prius WITH a drum kit, and it's rock solid every single time. Sometimes I use one of them by itself, it takes both channels from the mixer (no Y cable needed), and that little thing just cranks out my whole show, vocals, guitar and Beatbuddy like it's a whole PA system. You know what? I guess it is. These new powered speakers are really changing the live music world, and Mackie is always one of the best at whatever it is they put out. If you're looking for a small PA rig, you'll have a hard time finding something better.

Clean sound, easy to use; application to control the speaker with your phone is very convenient. Power is appropriate for all uses; I mainly use it as guitar monitor. You can connect your electric guitar thru stomp boxes or pedals directly without using a guitar amp; I also use it with an acoustic guitar having a clean sound that represent the true guitar wood.

Back in the day when spinning vynil was the o ly way you DJ we used massive kits to get the sound like The Mackie Thump Puts out. Back then I was using sometimes The pioneer Ramsas line of speakers. Smaller woofers big sound. This Mackie best is by far the best speaker system. The bluetooth is amazing. Like I'm like 200 feet
Away through walls this system works flawlessly. The on board screen is vivid color easy control on back of speaker..the app is amazing. Bluetooth is amazing no cutoffs. The speaker is a solid build. Very transportable. This is the way a speaker system should be. No feedback on bluetooth. Connections are clean. The speaker kicks. The bass is amazing. It's a solid buy. Get it get it. Plus AMS gives extended warranty for there products easy pay plans you can't go wrong.
