This is a great starter system for Dj's and Bands. Great range, and some serious Thump for sure. It be 5 stars if the subs had casters on the bottom for transport but, I'm sure a trip to home depot can cure that.

I play in a Latino band, we play a Tejano & International mix. We play hard and we like it loud ! We use 4 of these subs and 4 tops for our mains - This system has delivered incredible sound at every venue, from small clubs of 100 people to large dance halls of 500-800 people. The subs are incredible and I would put them up against subs costing 2 or 3 times as much any day of the week. The tops are solid and put out great sound at hi volume. We have pushed this system to the limit over and over and it has not let us down ! We are completely satisfied with this mackie system - as always AMS provides great service and quick delivery ! I hope this review helps -

I have the complete system just like the one pictured and have used it so far twice for 2 parties that I have DJ for. The system is very well balanced and you have the option of controlling it from the rear with Highs,lows and midrange. The system can put out a lot of thump if that is what you're looking for. I love old 80's freestyle music and this system works great. I use a Denon controller and have a few Chauvet lights and a light bar and I make it as close to being in a club as I can. Good luck and you wont be disappointed. I was a DJ back in the 80's and this system sounds great for the money.
