I picked this pedal up with the knowledge that its a beginner pedal, but after drumming around with it for hours it is one of the best lower priced pedal i have ever owned. I would suggest this to any drummer beginner or master in need of a sturdy pedal for a few nights. Greagt buy thanks AMS!!!

Admittedly, I am more of a Pearl pedal guy, but I got this one by a happy accident. It takes a little getting used to and adjusting (as most pedals do), but both myself and my other drummer like this pedal. It has a quick response and easily adjusts if needed.

I've been wanting a double petal for a while now ! I've been trying to buy one off of my friend but they would not give it up! So finally I decided I'd break down and buy my own. I recommend this place first of all because of the ease of payments. And the options that it provides me. Also it ships very fast with a quick delivery. My whole drum set came from here and I keep adding to the fun! Will definitely buy from here again.
But also the double pedal was every bit worth the money . Now just to keep practicing and adding to the set.

I was truly blown away upon unboxing and testing out this double kick pedal. I have been a drummer for 20 years. I have seen a lot of pedals come and go. And the only thing I would do to improve this pedal is make it a double chain drive for added durability, due to the fact that I know I'm not easy on my pedals.
I was looking for an affordable pedal to keep on a spare kit that I e been keeping at a friend's house so, I don't have to lug all of my gear back and forth Everytime we get together to jam and stumbled upon this little beauty.
I didn't even know Mapex made double kick pedals. I was a bit Leary due to the very low cost and the fact that I haven't had much luck with cheap pedals in the past but, I was very pleasantly surprised upon receiving and setting these up. The adjustments are very user freindly, the double sided beaters were a nice addition and the length of the footboards is just about perfect for my liking.
The speed and stability is on point and I don't feel like they're holding me back in any way, unlike most budget double kick pedals. The fact that both the master and slave pedals had solid foot plates and not that flimsy PDP style junk was fantastic, as well
For a sub $100 double kick pedal, you can't go wrong with this.
I would highly recommend it and AMS to any drummer, regardless of skill level!

This pedal did not even last me for a year I recommend you to buy a pedal that is double chain when you have a double chain the chain won’t burst off just like what happened with mine I recommend that you go with some Tama Iron cobra 200s if you want to play double pedal it is double chained and especially if your starting

They weren't responsive enough, also the length pedals is really short (that may be a good thing for some people). Build a quality was just ok. You get what you paid for, but if you can try to save more money money to get better pedals.

I purchased this for use with an electronic kit and to give clients at my studio an alternative to setting up a giant kit to get basic tracks laid in a tight space. I own higher priced double pedals and frankly this thing is impressive for the cost! It set up fast and easy with minimal adjustment required. The pedals are a little small for my size 15’s, but average size drummers will find them comfortably adequate. The beaters are reversible and have enough mass to carry the force without slowing you down. Responsive and articulate feel that is adjustable, within a reasonable window. Overall I’d recommend this pedal for beginners or people that want to see what double bass drumming is all about, without breaking the bank. Pros will definitely feel the difference but you get what you pay for. Excellent value.

I didn't know what to expect! I strapped them on and played, I was blow away by the action and response I got. I have had other far more pricey pedals that did not have the response of this pedal! A great budget pedal for the rocker offers great speed and accuracys!
