Very well built, enjoy having the extra two inputs to run mics direct and the pres are very nice! Seems rugged and solid but would liked to have SPIDF in and out on this one too.

Product is very durable. Metal enclosure, metal knobs and the inputs on the back are secured to the chassis with screws. The software works great and the ASIO drivers work well with third party DAWs.
Inaudible latency for 4 channels with effects on monitoring outputs is incredible for the price. The VSL software is fantastic.
The basics are simple. The VSL interface is easy to use and a great alternative to having a physical mixer. I had to refer to the manual for some of the more advanced features but that's to be expected.
Your general opinion of this product.
When I bought this product I was a little skeptical because I was looking for a mixer with a USB interface. Unfortunately what I wanted didn't exist at my price point. This audio interface is fantastic for small gigs and recording. It's small enough to fit in my backpack with my laptop, mic and cables so if I need to record someone I can just grab it and go. This was a great purchase for me and is really helping me to get a better, more professional sound with my recordings.
The Audiobox 44VSL was well worth the price. I was very excited that I happened to get a scratch and dent deal so I was able to save a lot of money.
The AudiBox 44VSL is compact enough to transport quickly with a laptop but not so small that it becomes hard to use. It has a rugged appearance and appears to be built to last.
