I love these speakers. They sound great and keep their clarity when cranked.
I do however wish you could control the crossover, for use with subs.
I matched them with a pair of the Air15s subs. Very nice looking, great sounding combo.

I bought this speaker a few months ago and I've had nothing but positive experiences with it. I've primarily used it with my Juno DS and no matter what patch I use (wurly, acoustic piano, synth, pad, etc) the sounds are super clear, bass mids and treble. I've gotten more compliments on my keyboard's sound in the past few months than I can remember and I have to believe that the Air12 has something to do with it. Aside from the great sounds, the triple input (including xlr so it's perfect for singers/players too), digital eq and light weight are all plusses that make this an ideal keyboard speaker. One thing I will recommend is getting the bag with it too. It makes it easier to carry/protect. All in all I love this speaker and regularly recommend it to other keyboard players.

Having used and sold all brands of Active PA Speakers, the AIR12 definitely holds it own in the $500-$1k range. Sound quality is fantastic, especially when using a good mixer. My band's practice sessions sound much better.
Plenty of volume and should pair very well with a sub when using HPF settings. DSP settings are simple and easy to use. Don't forget about the 6 year warranty (Be sure to register the speakers @ Presonus.com). They are also not extremely heavy and have well placed handles for carrying, unlike other brands.
The only feature I would like to see added is a Input / Output metering for proper gain staging. This is a sorely needed function in the Powered Market and I can only think of one brand that has done it (EV).
Other than that, the AIR12's are worth every penny! Highly recommended!
