I was on the fence when it came to spending this kind of money on guitar for quite some time. Let me tell you that after a few months of having and playing it, I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger.
You hear a lot about the Paul Reed Smith quality control and from what I can tell it’s all true. I can’t stress enough just how flawless this thing is!
It is also the most beautiful guitar I have ever owned. Hands down, full stop, no contest and second place isn’t even that close. The pictures really do not do it justice its truly is something that has to be seen in person. Mine isn’t even a “10 top” so I can’t imagine how awesome those must look.
And it plays just as good as it looks! The frets are so buttery smooth it’s like they aren’t even there. The neck just feels right, not to thin not to thick.
If you are on the fence like I was I can’t recommend going for it enough. I truly believe that if you are passionate about playing guitar than you owe it to yourself to get at least one “dream guitar” at some point in your life.

From the moment you pull the case from the shipping box, to that incredible moment you set you’re eyes on this thing and pick it up. You experience a whole new level of quality craftsmanship, choice parts and select materials.
Small innovative ideas that make you think, “now that's a better way to do that, why didn’t anyone else think of that?”
The guitar was set up perfectly, fret work is incredible and is such a joy to play. Not to mention that it’s so beautiful. I’m sure whatever finish you select, it will look incredible. But it’s not just a pretty face. This instruments excels at what it’s suppose to do. Be a tool for your music.
Nothing is perfect so here is what I found. And I’m being VERY picky
The pickups are fantastic. Quality tones and I’m impressed with the clean tones and split combinations (truly great tones). I’m not as impressed with the drive tones. Purely personal opinion but I find they have too much “bite”.
THAT’S ALL! Haha! Seriously! Buy it!

i got the charcoal black. very fine guitar sustain is endless and it never loses tune. and its very light. ive been playing for 26 yrs best guitar ive ever owned and ive owned them all from Jackson Gibson fender hammer esp

I never thought I would own one of these but now I do and I must say its so worth it. it is the best guitar I have ever played, I have owned, still own, and have played many high end guitars through the years and this is the best of the best, the playability is unbelievable and the attention to detail is far above any other. The sound is just incredible. Far better than the Gibson I own and and any other I have ever owned. This guitar is the dream and it doesn't disappoint.
