Straight out the box you can just tell this is a high quality piece of music equipment. Very well made and the tone that you get with it makes it one of the best things you could add to your studio. Bass guitar recordings have never sounded better with this!

Between working live sound and in studio projects. This is hands down the best sounding di box. Its not just the clarity, dynamic range or signal to noise ratio that this box has but the extended range on the lower frequencies. I A/B compared this with other high end di and every time the Neve di box wins.

What can I say? It's a Neve through and through, it just adds that magic sound, and makes bass, guitar, whatever line level instrument you throw at it. I've had mine for about 2-3 months now and haven't looked back, it's just an all around improvement in signal and sound quality. I'm more than pleased with this Rupert Neve Designs original and highly recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their signal chain in their recording set up.

I've used it a lot on guitar and on bass. I have a real good preamp and so for recording direct I can't say that this adds as much as I've read via SOS. It definitely helps of you can crank Al little into it. I used a Cali 76 pedal. I tried once to run my power amp out of it and it sounded like crap. It's still a great DI box but it's a little much to use as just a DI. I would go jdi or warm audio.

Very easy to set up, and is worth the price. Provides an amazing tone to bass and electric guitar when recorded into my DAW. The sound is transformed with amazing tone and headroom. The unit itself is strong and sturdy and should last a long tome with heavy use.

Functions as I expected. I have Radial DI products and have been very satisfied. This is just another tool in the tool box. Do not expect some magical "Neve sound" though. It is relatively transparent, but in a good way! Articulate, and defined. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

What a difference this DI made to the clarity, openness and frequency balance of my guitar sound. It really helps eliminate a lot of eqing. I am really amazed how nice the RNDI is. This is the only Neve product I own because well I can't afford his stuff. I can only imagine how great Neve's high end pre's and comp's are.
