I’ve been playing drums for over 50 years I play different genres of music I got this unit because it was small and compact Used it for a small club playing smooth jazz the results were fast set up and great sounding everyone was impressed on how full the band sound no subs were used just 15 inch top boxes and I got to tell you it was great so I would recommend this unit. To those Wanting a great sound use it with a small three-piece bebop kit Check the unit out you won’t be disappointed

Wow, really impressive piece of hardware here. I use it to record practice and covers. With proper setup it does a great job of capturing the sound of the whole kit. Too bad I didn't see this product until recently while buying a Sabian cymbal here on AMS.

Excellent choice for playing in smaller venues, especially to get that extra thump from the kick.
Pros: Great quality for the price, easy to mix w/ headphone jacks, easy to record, playback, and transfer to a computer via SD Card
Cons: The only thing I find frustrating is the mic placement for the OHR mic. Holding the "calibration cord" in the correct position and adjusting the mic stand isn't always easy by yourself.

Not only am I able to get a great drum sound at home and at smaller gigs, the ability to record on an SD card and get the full band in the mix with some experimental mic placement is great for recording and reviewing rehearsals. I’ve been a “always record” guy for many years and this setup makes it incredibly easy. I highly recommend this.
