Product Review Got this for my squier jazz master with tele setup, wanted more punch and clarity in the pickups and this set delivered. The neck gives me that mellow sound I wanted and the bridge packs a punch with some OD added in there.

Product Review I've read tons of reviews on pickups to upgrade my standard tele pickups. I finally decided on the quarter pounders. I have been blown away by the bite these pickups have but if you roll down the volume you can still play bluesy licks with tons of sustain for those nice clear bends. Even a little country that tele thang is still there. I am satisfied with my purchase. It has brought new life to one of my oldest guitars.

Product Review I am so glad I went this route and picked these bad boys up. They are a work horse and offer more versatility then one would expect from Telecaster pups. Sure you can dial in the sweet "twang thang" we all expect but you can dial in soooo much more as well. Don't be afraid to pour the dirt on heavy. In fact I encourage it. For as hot as the bridge is the hum is minimal which is nice. I love a good Alnico 5 pup and these are quickly becoming my fav's. And A big thank you to AMS for making my purchasing experience such a pleasure.

If you’re looking for a bigger, meaner sound than your stock tele pickups, these are it.

Product Review I have been a humbucker player for almost 20 years. I play in a modern country band that also does quite a few rock songs also when we do bar gigs. I usually use a PRS CE22 as my main guitar, but I fell in love with the feel of a Deluxe Nashville tele and brought it home. The stock Noiseless fender pickups were nice, but balancing them with my rig vs my other humbucker guitars was a chore and the humbucker guy in me desired more output and to tame the highs slightly. I bought the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound tele set on a whim. There are just so many pickups these days to choose from. I installed them the same day I received them and, from the first chord, I knew I made the right choice. The clean sounds surprised me the most. The neck is clear but pushes harder then a standard tele neck pickup. Almost purrs. It is very pleasing. When overdriven it has almost a humbucker sound—smooth and vocal without being muddy. I use this sound a lot. The bridge pickup is stellar. My expectations were met and then some. It sounds like a mixture of a tele bridge pickup and a p90. It growls when overdriven but retains that clear tele pickup thing that I liked in the stock pickups. Tames the brightness ever so slightly— just enough, not too much. Still allows for good use of the tone knob. The clean sounds from the bridge are excellent. I wanted clean but pushed. That’s what it does. It’s got a humbucker character without being too bulky sounding (I hope that makes sense. Kind of hard to describe). All in all I couldn’t be happier with these pickups and I’m happy to say that this tele has become my main guitar. American Musical Supply does a great service for working musicians with their payment plans. Makes my wife happy too.
