This is a beautiful banjo that was easy to setup, tune, and play. I recommend it for beginner and intermediate players. It has a great set of strings, and the action is on point. Looks much more expensive than it is and I always get compliments.

So as I stated I’m just starting out on the banjo, so I can’t really speak to much outside of the fact that this thing is gorgeous. Not too heavy and sounds great when I can make a decent sound from it. The fit and finish are excellent. I looked around plenty before buying and I think this is the best bang for your buck without spending an arm and a leg.

I ordered this banjo for my wife for Christmas. It came with the bridge in a plastic bag for shipping reasons. I found out exactly where to put the bridge on the banjo from a you tube video.it was very simple.
The instrument came shipped at superman speed and was packed very well.
I can't believe how beautiful the banjo is. It also plays easy and stays in tune.
A great buy for the money.
I also purchased a hardship case with it.
I recommend AMS to everyone that reads this. Thank you American music supply for selling pro instruments.

I bought this for my wife who wanted to learn how to play banjo while the shelter in place orders forced everyone to stay at home. She thought it would be a great time to do something she always wanted to do. Being a advanced guitar player I know a bit about stringed instruments. The quality on this instrument seems to be excellent. It stays in tune, I was able to set it up pretty easily, the action is great, and it sounds great too. My wife is still having a blast and she is two months in. I'm looking forward to a some jam sessions once she can keep up. :) I would definitely recommend this instrument.

Always a pleasure doing business with AMS. Received Banjo 2 days ahead of schedule .After initial set up banjo is awesome to play ,action, tone, even aesthetics are great .My only complaint is I hate to stop playing while my fingers rest. so heres to loving my washburn and AMS !!!!!

I am a beginner banjo player, but as far as I can tell, this is a quality instrument. I have a couple of Washburn guitars that I love, and the banjo has not been a disappointment either. Solid feel, good tonal quality, and good price point.
