The LTD ’87 Series celebrates the point in the mid-1980s when ESP’s guitars and basses grabbed the attention of players around the world. In addition to a variety of great ‘80s-focused solid color finishes, the ’87 Series now also includes a full set in the classic (and coveted) ESP Rainbow Crackle finish. The Eclipse ’87 is based on the original ESP Eclipse model, with a TE archtop shape. This guitar offers neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and three-piece maple neck at 25.75” scale. The Eclipse ’87 includes a set of Seymour Duncan ’59 (neck) and JB (bridge) pickups, with original style bobbins and a push-pull volume control to split the coils. Other features include a Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo, Macassar ebony fingerboard, and 24 extra-jumbo frets.
