Product Description

The ESP XJ-1 HT is Built with bolt-on construction at 25.5” scale and offers a textured sandblasted Black Blast finish on its swamp ash body. It makes use of a sturdy and reliable bolt-on three-piece thin u-shaped roasted maple neck, as well as a tilt-back reverse headstock that’s great for maintaining string tension at lower tunings. The XJ-1 HT offers a Macassar ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.

Components on this superb instrument include LTD locking tuners and a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string thru body. The flexible sonic character of the XJ-1 HT comes from its Fluence Open Core Classic bridge pickup with three voices accessible via push-pull control. Voice 1 gives you the legendary bridge pickup humbucker tone along with the output levels you need for contemporary music performances. Voice 2 hot-rods that bridge tone, but still provides the dynamics you need for your most expressive performances. Voice 3 is the coveted tone of a slightly overwound single coil.
