Where to start on this bass! The satin smooth neck or the perfect frets? The truss rod adjustment wheel is the best way to adjust a neck. The extra fret sets this bass over the top as well. I am a passive bass player who loves the sound of passive basses and passive EQs so it will come as no surprise that I run my elite in passive! Use a darkglass mircotubes on the floor for that! Ive already had it for about three months and my P basses are just gathering dust! The blend knob can really get you into P bass territory! Already sold my Gibson SG bass after seeing the light thanks to this amazing bass. This bass blew me away best bass Ive ever owned and I've owned ricks string rays german warwicks and a USA top of the line P bass. I have never been a Jazz bass kinda guy until now! I got lucky and picked up a scratch and dent for 1360. That's whats made me pull the trigger on this bass. Best impulse buy ever! Knowing what they cost full price it far exceeds the price tag for a new one!

Fender has done it again, and again with this bass. Classic Jazz Bass feel throughout the neck. Fast action for the most aggressive players. Volume, pickup and tone controls create a 360 degree range of sounds that for me, theres no need for pedals! Crisp highs and very deep lows make this my go to bass. I have a Gibson bass that is now collecting dust. This Fender blows it away! A must have for any real bass player. Well worth the $$$. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is absolutely the case with this guitar!

Product Review
The Fender Jazz Bass will always be a classic instrument and with each new series it gets better and better. This bass has the comfort of a vintage jazz bass with the tone and versatility to tackle classic and modern music. If you are looking for a good all around bass, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Product Review
I bought this bass because and it was a great decision. I use it in school all day and practice for hours at night. The neck is super comfortable and above the 12th fret feels great. I would definitely fly with the included case..I was impressed with the case as much as the bass. I feel the pickups are darker sounding than I like. I switched them for Aguilar HC’s and I couldn't be happier. I am a really big fan of the passive sound of this bass. I wipe her down every night like a proud owner.

Product Review
Right out the box the active preamp did not work. Even after putting fresh batteries in it. The battery cover screws were not recessed and were flat head screws. Bad design!
The bass weighed more than stated. The string were lifeless. For 2,000 dollars you think Fender could give you a nice working bass. But I guess that is too much to ask for. It's being returned. Don't buy this product.

Product Review
The bass is beautiful. The finish, binding, and inlays are very well done, and the fretwork is flawless. It came set up pretty well. I lowered the action a little, but that's a personal preference. I like the new truss rod adjustment wheel, but the allen wrench provided did not fit. Sound-wise, it's very versatile. I used it at a gig recently, and it played and sounded great. Very smooth and easy to play. The new noiseless pickups deliver what was advertised, and are completely silent. The passive mode has the classic Fender tone(some purists may disagree). The lows were tight, the highs sang, and the notes came through clearly. The active mode gave me a very wide range of tones, from P bass to Music Man. It was great for funk, rock, and classic motown. Overall, I'm very happy with this bass and would strongly recommend it.
