I’ve wanted one of these since I was a kid. I’m a songwriter and was finally able to get this awesome guitar. It’s everything I expected it to be. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a heirloom guitar that you will want to keep and play forever. It has elevated my songwriting experience. The even bassy tone is great for any music style. The product came in an unmarked box with a Gibson branded box inside. The case is high quality in plush inside. It also includes a start kit and humidifier pack from dadario and a keychain that hold a pick. I can’t say enough about this guitar.

What’s left to say about a J45? It’s one of the most iconic guitars ever for a reason. I have a studio walnut but couldn’t pass up on the price of this “minor blemish” J45 Standard. It honestly my favorite acoustic. It sounds every bit as good as my Martin D28, but the slope shoulder and 24 3/4 scale length make it more comfortable “to me”. I have a 000 as well, but the J45 has a more clarity and protection without being too much bigger. The finish is amazing! The rosewood fingerboard looks nicer than any of my Gibson’s, almost marbled. The back and sides are dark-but not as black as they look in the pictures, nice subtle wood grain to it.

This is a amazing guitar it plays like butter and sounds even better...I've played guitar for over 40 years..started on acoustic eventually went all electric for live shows...But since I've gotten this j45 my whole first set is acoustic..And IM LOVING IT!!!

We all know how special the J-45 is. It’s been involved in some of the most important musical creations in history. These new models take everything that made the original J-45’s special, and add in improved tuners, a better neck, and much better playability.
The sound is massive and deep. The action is low and easy to hammer away on. Whether you are interested in cowboy chords or blues licks, this guitar does it all.
The black nut is so sleek and sexy, and still timeless. You truly can’t go wrong with the J-45’s that Gibson is making these days.

Absolutely classic tone! Loud, warm, and full of sustain! The first week I bought it, I wrote 3 songs on it - it was just so inspiring. I would recommend this guitar to add to any collection, or to be the workhorse that gets the job done for you day in and day out. It lacks nothing.

Probably like most people that play guitar, we want a signature guitar. One that our favorite artist plays or one that the guitar player in church play, but who can drop $2,700.00 on a new guitar? Well, I work for a living and truly not able to drop thar kind of coin. However, with the 12 easy payment a d no interest I can dedicate my monthly allowance for the iconic J45. I had to wait for it, but it is everything I expected from AMS and Gibson. ThNm you for allowing me to share.

There is a good reason why they call the J-45 the “Workhorse” it just works. It sounds great it plays great and it’s just beautiful to look at.
I’d have personally liked a little more case candy. Mine came with the key ring and the cleaning cloth, and the Dadarrio Humidipacks, but I thought Gibson were supposed to send you a picture of your guitar right off of the line and some other little cool things like that, maybe they stopped doing that I’m not sure
Nitpicks like that aside, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the most recorded guitar in history. Get yours Now!

I have always wanted a J45 but never thought I could afford one. Finally, I took the plunge and purchased one from AMS using the convenient payment plan. Thank you AMS. It is everything I had hoped for, perfect right out of the box. This is definitely my favorite guitar and I hope to have many years to enjoy it. I highly recommend it over the new Studio model.

The j45 is a classic for a reason. It has that classic dry gibson thump, perfect for vocal accompaniment. The action was perfect out of the box and the guitar played great. A beautiful sunburst finish too, no orange peel or anything, gibson has stepped it up the past few years and is back to making incredible guitars.

This is my very first Gibson product I’ve ever owned and I love it. They don’t call it the workhorse for nothing. The spruce top with mahogany back and sides create the most beautiful tone. This guitar is great for rhythm and lead. Great all around guitar that plays so effortlessly. With the standard intoxicating Gibson smell that fumes from the case with excellent American made craftsmanship it’s a no brainer. Defiantly see myself purchasing another Gibson in the future.
