Theremins

Primarily a synthesizer played by proximity sensors, Leon Theremin's magical musical instrument was popularized early on by Clara Rockmore, and was a life-long passion of synth pioneer Bob Moog. Evolving from a staple of sci-fi soundtracks and a Led Zeppelin luxury, the Theremin has become increasingly popular in recent years as more and more bands incorporate electronics into their sound-and stage-show.
