First introduced in 1937 (as the Super Jumbo), Gibson's "King of the Flat-tops" was originally built to cut through the loudest acoustic ensembles. Named for its super large body, the SJ-200 produces a deep, balanced and powerful sound from a radiused top with scalloped bracing. With its extreme projection and tonal resonance, the Gibson Super Jumbo is excellent for creating a giant chordal background for vocal accompaniment, making it the "Artist's Choice" for all styles of music, from rock to country and all steps in-between.
