Nice gtr
What is your overall opinion of this product?
Overall opinion "not too shabby"
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
Quality is typical epi. as said before not too shabby especially with the hard case,,,
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Light feel, slim neck,
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Well tone was pretty good, my style of playing is usually with USA les Paul's heavy pop punk stuff , pickups are a little on the low side with only about 6 k resistance ,, had to stuff some a/c foam in the f holes to reduce feedback,, after that it was tamed with my gain
How did the stain or paint job look?
Finish I received was the natural finish, nice looking, when brought to my guitar tech for setup we realized a wax finish on the fretboard that was not taken off, apparently the wax is put on at the factory to protect the fretboard, ( someone forgot to take it off no biggie,)
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
As expected, ams rules once again,,, although on the neck volume control was very scratchy faulty wiring, again no big deal just a small soldering fix, but should have been perfect,,,, bad quality controll on epis part
How was the action out of the box?
Not bad, raised it a little,
