General
Your general opinion of this product.
This is a 500 dollar guitar, or should be. Too many short cuts, BUT, compared to the price of guitars these days, if you want a nice guitar this one has the basic essentials to polish up and turn into a great guitar. All around pretty decent guitar. Of course with most all Fender guitars, there is a need for a set-up right out of the box. The saddles on the bride are not any good so they need to be replaced. The intonation on the low E string is nearly impossible to set due to the screws across the top of the bridge plate.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Decent quality overall. Just hate that Fender uses cheap parts in the important places which leave little choice except to replace them. Tuners, saddles, and the tone pots being what I am referring to.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Nice tone without a doubt.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Nice paint
