Neck has substance, feels nice in your hand and fast. Controls are simple and easy to get to and you can get any sound you want out of this baby.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
This guitar can go from mellow and smooth to snappy and twangy and everything in between. Much nicer lows and highs when compared to other strat models. It's just different. More solid sound but not harsh. Classy is the word I would use.

How did the stain or paint job look?

This is a solid built guitar - the neck to body joint alignment is dead on.

It just gets better with time - its a year old and its aging nicely.

I selected mine from several - and picked a nicely balanced around 7 lbs. It is such a thing of beauty.
Playability and Feel

The feel is great - neck is not to fat and fits nicely in the hand. I don't like super thin necks - mine has a nice balance.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Pickups and sound are typical strat - a nice thin tone which beefs up nicely with the right overdrive pedal.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finsh is true perfection - a feeling of stepping back in time. Nice lacquer finish not to heavy.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was nicely setup - no issues or fret-outs. Plays like a dream.
