Ideal for keyboards or lots of other mixing applications, the MX28 MINI-MIX IV provides 3 line-level stereo input channels. Leave that bulky rackmount mixer in the trailer and carry this compact, powerful little unit to the coffeehouse gigs. The MX28 also provides a balance control, left and right 1/4" outputs, making it ideal for studio applications, rehearsal, even for instructors.

I have the black version and it's well-made. The labelings are clearly marked on the metal chassis. I love it!

All I needed was another stereo input on the Audiogram3. Yeah, I could've bought the Audiogram6 for that. At the time I didn't have the SonicCell. I didn't want to buy a mixer. I wanted something that didn't need much space. Having 3 stereo channels is a godsend! Now I can add another instrument if I want to without it being a problem. The best part about the Rolls Mini-Mix VI are the 3 stereo channels, pan on each channel, master level and heaphone level. I just mentioned all the features!

How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
I've connected my stereo outs of the Yamaha MO6 and Roland SonicCell to the stereo ins of the Rolls with the output of the Rolls connected to my Yamaha Audiogram3 so I can record from both instruments without unplugging one to connect to the other. Whew! That was a mouthful. With limited space in my room, I decided the Rolls would satisfy my input needs...and it has!

How is the tone?
It has no tone. Pure clean sound goes in, pure clean sound comes out.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I only had it for a week so time will tell. But I couldn't imagine this bad little fella breaking down any time soon.

A big time and money saver...and problem solver! This little device doesn't compromise sound quality at all. Whatever kind of sound goes in, you'll get the same coming out.
