ZVEX Effects is a boutique effects pedal company founded in Minneapolis by President Zachary Vex in 1995. Zack earned his mad scientist credentials early on, but he really exploded the pedal universe at Winter NAMM 2016 with his Candela Vibrophase. The Candela is a moving electronic guitar effect pedal sculpture made entirely of hand machined brass, and powered by a single candle. Other radical innovative ZVEX designs include the now world famous Fuzz Factory, the eminently awesome Box Of Rock, a series of Theremin pedals, a series of Sequencer pedals, and much more. ZVEX was also the first company to employ artists to hand paint their pedals. ZVEX's line also includes more affordable silk screened versions of many of their most popular designs.
