| the nicest feature on this bass is the abillity to switch between and blend the pickups creating a varriety of useable sounds.I would add a thumb rest. When you rest your thumb on the pickup you get a buzz. To get away from this you must turn down the trebble. |

| The tone is great in all positions from low to high. |
| Playability and Feel:
| body contours make this a comfortable bass to play.The neck is slim and fast(the sme way I like my women!). |

| You can move from bright and snappy to dark and mysterious(the other way I like my women) with minor effort. |

| I've seen many a chinese made guitar, and this is outstanding.
Solid hardware, everything is tight and secure. Finish is flawless.
There was a bit of a dent in the neck pick up cover, but I could care less. |

| BEEF. It's meaty, thunderous, boomy, thonky and plunky. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Like most Gibson/Epi basses, it's a neck-diver, but it plays beautifully. I love the neck and the semi-flat strings. Plays like butter. |
| Tone:
| You can get the beefy thunder from the neck pick up, or use the bridge PU for a more mean, articulate sound. Between the selector switch and individual vol and tone controls for each pickup, the range of available tones are great, more so than with most basses. |
| Finish:
| Finish is seemless and shiny. You would never know this was a $300 Chinese-made bass. |
| Action:
| Action was fine out of the box, but it will need a proper set up.
Could be a lower and there's a couple spots that have some weird sympathetic harmonics, but a proper setup will take care of it.
This is a long, set neck that's under a lot of tension, so it will likely need a setup after being shipped around and subjected to various and random temp and humidity fluctuations. |
