Subject:Oh what a feeling!!
Quality: This is high quality, it does not get any better, and I've had just about everything for rock/metal except PRS.
Sound: How do you think...neck thru & EMGs, my god man...it's awesome!!
Reliability: Only had it a month and so far so good. I've heard a lot of horror stories about neck thru Jacksons and warping necks. But, if you store them right and take care of them all will be fine!
Overall: This was only my second Jackson and I'm very glad I decided to go with the purchse. AMS is the best & the EZ Pay really helps!! My first Jackson was a USA Dinky & I was not liking it; bought it in 2005 and got rid of it after a month. I originally was going to go with a soloist, but decided on this because of th small batch, and not everyone would have this Snow White beauty!!
Playability and Feel: butta butta!! Not heavy but not light and cheap feeling...just righht! Neckis thin and fast & beautiful ebony board w/ MOP sharkfns!! Controls are laid out perfectly!!
Tone: You can get just about any sound you want from this masterpiece. Pikups are for sure hot, but mellow up when you roll the vol and tone back. Yeah, it's a Ferrari, but you can tame her too!
Finish: Finish was PERFECT. Very inpressed with Jackson USA. The Snow White w/Black Pinstripe on front & back plus the EMG. XXXX yeah!! By the way, I had 3 ESPs ina row with finish issues and AMS took care if it pronto. KUDOS TO AMS!!
Action: I dropped the floyd just a hair, I lkie the action really low 'cause I'm a sloppy at leads. So, the lower action just helps me.
Skill Level: Beginner
Do you own this product?: I have the Snow White w/black pinstripes and EMGs

Subject:Very nice. How much? Oh!
Quality: Dependable BUT! the points stick out a long ways and are very prone to damage.
Reliability: It's been a good ride.
Overall: Good but overpriced. The model below it (the 800 dollar one) is not that different.
Playability and Feel: Not very well balanced. Neck is fast though.
Tone: Dark with not that great harmonics from a metal guitar.
Finish: Like the finish.
Action: Good height. Not such a great tremolo.
Skill Level: Intermediate

Subject:Semi Pro Player & I Will Only Play These
Quality: Top of the line, and dependable
Sound: I play a vast array of styles. From Jazz & blues to straight rock, heavy metal, and Neo Classical. This is the only guitar it can pull off all those sounds some people say it gets to hot sounding well all you have to do is roll the volume back just a tiny bit, and the guitar runs perfectly clean no matter how hard you strum. Guitars have volume knobs for a reason.
Reliability: These babies can take it. I practice anywhere from 3 to 10 hours a day 7 days a week besides playing shows. I have not had either of mine fail me, and here is an example. I hadn't taken either of them to just get a regular tune up in over two years. It is just something I do out of habit. Well took my main one up to my guitar tech. He looked at it and told me to take it back home I could change my own strings because it was still set up perfectly. Now how many guitars do you know that after being played atleast 30 hours and normally a lot more a week for two years straight still be perfectly set up when you take them back to your tech to have them set up.
Overall: Ok I first want to remark about a person saying there isn't that much of a difference between this one, and the $800 one. Actually there are a lot. The KE2 is hand made in the U.S.A. while the $800 (KE3) is made in Japan. This one has is a neck through with switchcraft parts, a real floyd rose, and ebony fingerboard just to name a couple. While the KE3 has a bolt on neck, a licensed floyd rose, and a rosewood fingerboard. Enough about that. I have been playing Jackson Kelly's since the 90's, and I will not own any other electric guitars other then Jackson Kellys. These are probably the best electrics you can buy. People have stepped away from Jackson to go to a couple other brands that have very similar body styles to jackson, and set ups. Don't go to those other companies they are knock offs of Jackson guitars, and the only reason none of the companies have been sued is Jackson doesn't want the bad publicity. Pay a little extra, and get a real Jackson not a knock off.
Playability and Feel: Plays like a dream once you get used to playing it you will seriously have a difficult time playing anything else or any lower quality guitar.
Tone: Depends on which postion you have the pickups set, but it goes from bright to mellow to dark. Along with everything inbetween
Finish: They look great. I have a transparent red flamed maple Kelly, and a Crimson Swirl Kelly. The finishes on both are amazing
Action: Action out of the box I am not sure cause it has been awhile since I got mine.
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
Do you own this product?: I own 2 of them
