Quality: This is high quality, it does not get any better, and I've had just about everything for rock/metal except PRS. Sound: How do you think...neck thru & EMGs, my god man...it's awesome!! Reliability: Only had it a month and so far so good. I've heard a lot of horror stories about neck thru Jacksons and warping necks. But, if you store them right and take care of them all will be fine! Overall: This was only my second Jackson and I'm very glad I decided to go with the purchse. AMS is the best & the EZ Pay really helps!! My first Jackson was a USA Dinky & I was not liking it; bought it in 2005 and got rid of it after a month. I originally was going to go with a soloist, but decided on this because of th small batch, and not everyone would have this Snow White beauty!! Playability and Feel: butta butta!! Not heavy but not light and cheap feeling...just righht! Neckis thin and fast & beautiful ebony board w/ MOP sharkfns!! Controls are laid out perfectly!! Tone: You can get just about any sound you want from this masterpiece. Pikups are for sure hot, but mellow up when you roll the vol and tone back. Yeah, it's a Ferrari, but you can tame her too! Finish: Finish was PERFECT. Very inpressed with Jackson USA. The Snow White w/Black Pinstripe on front & back plus the EMG. XXXX yeah!! By the way, I had 3 ESPs ina row with finish issues and AMS took care if it pronto. KUDOS TO AMS!! Action: I dropped the floyd just a hair, I lkie the action really low 'cause I'm a sloppy at leads. So, the lower action just helps me. Quality: With the exception of some finish issues I think this guitar is extremely well built! I've had a few Gibson USA's in the past and this thing blows those out of the water in overall quality! Sound: Tone for days!! Has a nice weight to it... very solid and great sustain! Reliability: Just got it... Overall: I was very impressed with this guitar overall. This is my first Jackson and I know it won't be my last! Playability and Feel: Amazing!! I am 100% sold on Jacksons now! Plays incredibly easy... I didn't like the location of the volume knob at first but I got used to it in one day! Fun to play for sure! Tone: Great tone! With the amount of wood and neck-thru it really makes this thing sound beefy! I'm a huge fan of EMG's, and explorer shape bodies... this is why i picked the Kelly as my first Jackson. Finish: This was my only beef... for a custom shop job, I would have expected a better finish overall. There are areas on the body finish where it looks scuffed and not fully polished out. The frets have a few areas where I can see glue. The headstock was the worst! Where they layed down the pearl logo and binding areas have a raised finish look, kind of like a bubble. I hope this does not get worse over time! I told AMS and they made things right, as usual! Action: Not bad, much lower than most guitars from the box! I lowered it more myself and will need to adjust the trem springs, but that is to be expected with any new Axe.
